took quite awhile to come but the book was in pristine condition

The only criticism I have is the writing does have a lot of tell instead of show bits.Otherwise. I'm in love.Most romance stories turn me away with the romanticization of toxic traits and abuse. But the drama in the romance is realistic. Especially when you look at who the characters are. They support each other, won't push past boundaries, and communicate.Another thing, I've told all my friends and boyfriend that it felt like the author interviewed me to know the main character. I have social anxiety. And it SUCKS. I've never related so much to a character before. (Her blatantly being open about her emotions is the only thing I can't relate to tbh). Some of the things she thinks are sooo similar to thoughts I've had or even the exact same thought I've had before.It's a beautiful story about family, love, and keeping it all safe and fighting past all the discomfort of anxiety to do so.Beautiful. Thank you for writing a character that made me feel seen and understood.(Seriously, I finished the first book at 1250am and overnighted this one because I couldn't wait to continue and I finished it within 32 hours of receiving it).

She did it again everyone! Another amazing book. I have all her books and I loved all of them. Her writing is so good and it reads so easily. The world she created is made perfectly and I was completely lost in this world and the characters. As I've said in my review of the first book I really related to the MC's struggles and it's nice to read about them and recognize myself in them. This story also has everything you need in a good fantasy and I definitely recommend this book to every fantasy ya lover!I wanted to read the 1st book for so long but I waited until the second came out before I started it because I don't like starting unfinished series and I'm so glad I did that because this duology is just amazing!Also I love Tricia her writing so much that I actually got this duology in hardcover and paperback because I love both covers and I wanted to support her. She also did an amazing pré order gift for readers even internationally and I got signed bookplates yesterday! So happy with those! Thanks for everything Tricia, keep writing amazing books ❤️

Couldnt put it down. An absolutely perfect conclusion. I'd been wondering how it would end since I finished Blade of Secrets. Beautifully done!
