Unfortunately you can actually only play one person at a time even though a group can be split in two. We always play kinect in a group, so this really slows down the game play. We bought Sonic Free Riders at the same time and have enjoyed that game considerably more as it's faster, more players involved, and just more fun. Not as cool as I thought this game was going to be.
