I been using this apron for a couple of months and it is of a heavy durable suede leather, which protects you from hurting yourself. The fit is good. I use it for several different reasons, so it’s functional. The smell is harsh and strong. I had to put mine outside for a couple of days just to air out.

Awesome product and damn good price. I would get 2 for the lower price they are awesome, don't know how the sake them so cheap . I ordered 1 when I got it I ordered a second one.im a Welder and fabricator, 1 for work and one for home.

Bought this for our son who works with a forge. It does a great job of protecting him from the molten metals.

At its core, this is a fairly simple cow hide apron used for grinding and sharpening outdoor equipment. I would classify this has a nice, heavy feeling apron that stays firm around your waist, the belt around your waste and neck feel secure and heavy duty. Personally, I would shift the pocket to around the waste and have a larger, multiple pockets. A few customers on here complained about the smell of the product upon delivery, however I found the smell to be simple animal hide and of extremely low odor. The size is very comfortable for a guy of my size (6 ft, wide shoulders). Would recommend this to anyone needing a simple apron for welding or grinding to help avoid sparks and damage to your clothing.
