Love the idea that it came with two sets and new heating elements, Great value for the price and my unit works just fine now... Well worth the money... Easy to remove and replace if you follow the YouTube and instructions. 👍

My Gamesaver Plus sealer was showing its age. 8 years of use had left it in need of a retrofit. It was taking an inordinate time to vacuum and seal a basic bag. I initially thought I needed to replace it, but found this repair kit on Amazon. For 18.00 it was a tempting alternative to a new unit.I followed the instructions and replaced the upper and lower foam sealing gaskets. Took about 10 seconds.They fit like a glove. MAGIC! Works like new again. Couldn't be happier. Seals a small bag in about 5 seconds now. Came with 2 sets of foam and 2 new sealing strips. I'm good for 8 more years .

My old Foodsaver machine - I've had it for a loooong time was not working too well - losing vacuum, not sealing 100%. This kit made it work like it was just out of the box. The gaskets fit perfectly and putting the new base (included) for the heat sealer fixed that issue as well. Note: The first set of gaskets I ordered were too big - although the description said they would fit my model V2480. This second set worked perfectly.

Not quite sure how to review this, other than to stay it was easy to install on my particular sealer, fit well, and has done what it needs to do so far. The heat strip did have to be trimmed back a bit, but that's expected.

I have a very old Food Saver vacuum sealer. It worked reliably for many years, then became harder to use, I had to press down on the lid to get it to suction properly. Then it finally quit on me. The reviews for similar models were not very good. Then I started checking out reviews for replacing the gaskets and seal. that sounded really promising. And it works! We replaced the gaskets but not the heat strip, as that seemed to be working. Now it vacuums my bags like a new machine! I am very pleased with this purchase.

These originally worked well with our Foodsaver. But after 2 sessions of putting up our garden veggies, the bags are again not sealing properly and there is an extended cool down. Will be replacing the Foodsaver instead of parts.

My Food Saver 2480 sucked, but not the way it should have. The vacuum was weak, and left air pockets at the edges of whatever I tried to seal in the bags. The obvious first step was to replace the seals.These came all in a simple box with instructions printed on the outside. I took out two "pads" of foam, separated the gasket ring from the inner "packaging" foam stick, and swapped them for the old seals in the device. Of course, I first use soap and warm water to clean out the gasket channels and the vacuum insert in the bottom seal area.Fired that puppy up, made a bag using the sealer and dropped in a pound of hamburger. I tucked the edge into the holders in the lower seal insert, dropped the lid, turned the clamp and pressed the "Vacuum and Seal" button.THAT SUCKER(!!) ABOUT RIPPED THE AIR OUT OF THE BAG! The plastic collapsed around the lump of ground meat so quick I jumped back - I could see the air actually being pulled out of the tiny crevices OF THE MEAT ITSELF. It reduced in volume about 5% and sealed into a tight little package that I could never have reproduced with muscle and a zip-loc bag. I packaged up 10 pounds of ground beef for the freezer in about 15 minutes - AND I HAD A BLAST DOING IT.In the morning there was none of the ice crystals or air pockets that I ended up with the last time I tried using it.I am thoroughly impressed and very happy that such an inexpensive maintenance item brought my Food Saver back from the brink of the garbage can. I am VERY happy that the set I bought included 2 sets gaskets and Teflon strips; I haven't had an issue with the sealing yet, but I'm definitely going to swap it out as a proactive step.Well Done and Thank You!

We have an older food saver that needed new seals. These worked perfectly in the machine and actually fit better than the original gasket. Great product and got the machine back up and running!!
