After previously suffering from a cold a few months ago, both of my ears suffered a little with wax build-up, and while my left recovered fairly quickly, my right ear refused to budge. After using these, my right ear immediately cleared up and my hearing has improved since.For best results, I'd recommend using some ear drops to soften the wax and make it easier to remove. I did partially lose my sense of balance for a few minutes, but I think that had to do with my ear being clogged for a while. Overall, one of the best ear-related purchases I've made.

The individual ‘tools’ are very small and need to handled with extreme caution! I get itchy ear canals due to an allergic reaction to my hearing aid ear mould. I’d been using cotton buds to have a good (careful) scratch but a change of conscience made me look for a more robust solution. I ended up with very painful earache for several days after it went in a bit too far.These tools are good but, PLEASE BE CAREFUL not to stick anything smaller than your elbow inside your ear.

Between them, they cover all possible removal requirements!Neat little carry case too.Great to have on hand for those who produce wax quickly - everyone varies.They are narrow, so could go as far as the ear drum - be sensible.(Warning: always take extreme care if you need to use any implement in the ear. Professionals do not recommend DIY. A softening oil and/or an ear wax bulb/syringe may suit your needs better. Many pharmacists offer an ear wax removal service. Seek advice if unsure. )

I was using the tool as in the photo above. It came as one piece and the tip came off in my ear and I couldn’t get it out. 3 hours later in A&E it was removed. The other tools are ok as they are one piece but whatever you do don’t use the tool in the photo. Fuming at the total inconvenience and worry this caused
