Using this 3-wired outlet in a lamp post proved challenging because my mounting hole was a bit larger than the ideal 22 mm x 27 mm. and the thickness of the panel must be between 1/16" and 3/32". I don't know why the specification lists 27 x 27 mm (1.06") as the mounting hole size. My panel was 1/8" thick, which turned out to be two 1/16" metal layers glued together. The two latches were accommodated by separating the two layers and notching one layer to fit the latches on both lateral sides. Even so, the outlet body tended to rotate slightly because of the narrow (22 mm) top-to bottom outlet insert size. Check your mounting hole size carefully. Very good construction and UL quality.

This is for an electrical or electronic enclosure that needs an outlet installed. I needed a replacement for one in a commercial refrigerator's connection box.This one is simply perfect. I should say, these two because for a very reasonable price I got 2 in the package.These are constructed like a very responsible electrician or electrical engineer designed them, so what else do I need to say? Loop grounding terminal pre-installed... everything's perfect.

Worked to replace worn out receptacle in stove. Hardest part is get right style of screw in fuse on 27 year old stove. Glad to be able to repair since outlet was convenient to use
