I was searching for an elevation pillow for my wife, who broke her ankle, and required constant leg elevation to relieve swelling. We tried a couple of other products that were foam based, but they just proved to be too painful over long periods of elevation. This inflatable pillow was perfect! Not only did it inflate quickly, but provided all day comfort without excessive pressure on her foot/ankle.The valve has two parts - a smaller part for inflating, and a larger hole underneath for quick deflation. Inflating can be done by mouth in under a minute. It folds up compactly - very useful for travelling. This large, easy to blow up pillow, has been a brilliant functional tool during my post op recovery period. It is large enough for both the operated ankle and the healthy one to rest on, is light but doesn’t move in the bed, is easily portable for resting on a settee. Keeps the leg in a high bent knee position to help reduce swelling and is super comfy. Seriously good value for the comfort it supplies. Would not hesitate to recommend, so glad I bought it.

I purchased this Leg Pillow following my hip replacement. As it was inflatable and came with a 'novel' type of inflator, I thought it would be ideal as I would be able to deflate it once I had finished using it. I found it very easy to inflate and quite comfortable. It certainly comfortable and helped to reduce the swelling in my leg! However, after just 16 days the pillow started to deflate. I pumped it up again, but overnight it just delated again. I checked the valve and that was okay, but as a previous customer said I was not going to place the pillow under water to find the leak. The seams on this pillow do seem to be a bit thin and that's where the problem is. I asked for a replacement but was told that I could only get a refund (however you can purchase another one on Amazon!) I have now returned it for a refund!

Good but can slide about depending on surface

Arrived quickly in a nifty little drawstring bag with a pocket on front with ear plugs and eye mask in. It did have a bit of an off smell to it so I unfolded it all and left out overnight, the smell had gone.Took about 3-4 minutes to blow it up. Initially used the large hole to try to fill it and lost a fair amount of air while trying to get the plug in but then realised it has a smaller valve within it to top it up! Good idea!I've tired it as a back rest on the sofa but it is too large and I'm almost off the front of the seat using it! Laying on sofa with it under my legs is comfy but again a bit large for my little legs! I think it would be good to use in bed as support when reading rather than the less supportive pillows.I've left it blown up to see if it deflates on it's own over time!

This is a great product. It is a flock covered air pillow and wedge shaped. Your legs can be elevated quite high.The way you inflate it is ingenious. There is a separate ‘bag’ with an open top that attaches to a one-way valve on the pillow. Open the open bag, let air in and then close the top. Any collected air can be squeezed into the pillow. It’s entirely manual so no pump needed. This means it’s portable (little carry bag included) and would be great camping or on the beach. If you are after a wedge pillow for behind your head or resting your feet elevated, this is for you.By the way, I’ve not been paid or given this product.

I bought this to use when I came home from hospital after breaking my ankle. This pillow was easy to inflate, comfortable to use and kept my leg elevated at the proper height to reduce the painful swelling while I had my cast on. It's light enough to move about easily when I wanted to lie flat or adjust my position. When I was up and about going to the kitchen or toilet, my foot would swell to the point where the scars around my foot/ankle would press against the cast painfully. Elevating my feet on this pillow allowed the swelling to go down noticeably, significantly reducing the pain and discomfort. I'm 100% happy with this purchase.

hesitated over this purchase. struggled to inflate using the bag so went old skool and simply blew it up without the bag. took 10 seconds literally. excellent shape and size. comfortable and is a good elevation for legs (don't use it for anything else). all in all a sound purchase that is already helping me.I wouldn't sleep through the night with it. found that utilising it intermittently was better for my back and legs than a sustained period of several hours. that's not a reflection on the product at all. Just my subjective comment around personal pain free recovery.
