Typically, I will make my coffee and throw this mug in my bag for about 2 hours before I open it. The coffee will still be steaming. It hasn’t leaked and I’m not gentle with it. I haven’t tested it for more than a few hours but I’m really pleased with it.

Bought this as a gift for a family member and they were very pleased! I have since seen several other friends get them. They are very well put together. Great Product!

This review is for the Fellow Carter Wide mug (also listed as the Everywhere mug). This is a beautifully designed product that's very pleasant to drink from, and mine seems very well made, without the various flaws noted by some other reviewers.However, it's supposed to be compatible with the Aeropress brewer, as in, you can brew directly into the mug. Some reviewers say that it works for them. However, with our Aeropress (regular size, and many years old -- possibly the original model), the mug's opening is too small to brew into--completely impossible. That's with the original filter that comes with the Aeropress.When I tried brewing with the special Aeropress Flow Control filter cap, it fits -- but it leaks badly along the sides, so you lose a lot of coffee. This was very disappointing, as the main reason for buying it was to use it with the Flow Control filter. But I was even more suprised to find that it couldn't be used even with the regular filter! Again, our Aeropress is one of the old or original models, so perhaps the newer ones do fit, but that would be surprising to me.So, if you want to use the Aeropress Flow Control filter, or the Fellow Prismo flow control filter, it won't work with this, unfortunately (several other reviewers have said that the Fellow Prismo doesn't work--I haven't tried it myself, as we have the Aeropress version).The other negative is that these mugs are made in China. Designed in San Francisco but -- made in China. Disappointing.So--we'll still make use of this mug, but it's not serving the main purpose we bought it for.Final notes in favor of this mug: A lot of the negative reviews seem to be from people who didn't read the instructions that come with the mug. Instructions say clearly to hand wash only, mug is not dishwasher safe. They also say, do not use metal implements inside the mug--so stir your coffee with a wooden/bamboo/plastic spoon, not metal, to avoid scratching or chipping the ceramic coating.

Looks great but doesn't hold heat long,.only for about a few hours and leaks. Not worth the money

It seems my luck is not so good with Fellow Carter. I had already exchange for a new one when i first received it due to inside ceramic cracking. Now after few month of using the second one the inside has tiny ceramic that came off look like tiny dots. I dont think i be buying ceramic coating now.

Had a hard time deciding whether to get it or not. Turn out it worth every penny. A little hard to clean the inside because my hand is big.
