The best low-cost/durable option to repair holes in home siding
A very simple product but it met my expectations and is simply the best low cost option to repair vinyl siding I came across. I applied this to patch to cover a whole in my siding 10 months ago. It's gone through a Summer, Fall, and Winter in the Midwest (Missouri) so it's endured 103-degree heat and -5-degree winters, snow, ice, tornado like winds, 15 straight days of rain, and this product has held up through it all without any signs of wear and tear. Since it comes in white, you will need to paint it to blend in. Phenomenal value for a basic product which will save you a ton of money on home repairs if you delay using it!

Easy to install
Installed over 6 months ago. Still in solidly in place. Easy to install. Doesnt blend with texture of siding all that well, but doesnt really show froma distance. Keeps water damge from occurring, and saves having to replace hard to order corner posts. Great price. Siding is white so havent had to try to match color. Good value

It WORK'S
I wish I could show you pitchers of before and after . So simple to do my grandmother could do it . I've seen thing's that say they can restore damaged objects but this really does but you really need to get the paint close to say what damage . Thank's my siding is truly fixed until someone showers my siding with rock's while mowing .

OK for what it is
It's basically tape that takes paint and has strong adhesive. It is not at all firm, so if there is warping on the siding from the damage it will crinkle the patch. Likewise, anything larger than a small hole might leave a ripple no matter how careful you are. The latter is much less noticeable from a distance than the former. It's possible some processing of the hole, ie cutting it out cleaner, might mitigate the crinkling due to warping, but the larger the hole the more rippled the patch will be and you'll have to do a clean job.All in all, if you have a small hole (1.5" sq or diameter) and are able to match the paint this will work well. A little bigger might be ok depending on warping and the nature of the hole. Take a piece of broken siding to the store and they will match your paint perfectly.

First impressions
Subject to changeWasn't what I was expecting, but in actuality the two-part system is actually kind of clever. Instructions say do not try to fill in the defect. Follow the instructions, not your instincts but for my first try I think it's going to be pretty good after I paint it.So far so good.

Waste of money
These things are very thin. You’re better off buying duct tape color matched

Amazing. Could not find hole after repair.
After running out of siding remnants for repair, I used a clear tape patch, which quickly collected dirt over the years. Before purchasing a new bundle of siding for about $300, I thought I would give these patches a try. I took a piece of broken siding to a Valu and Home Depot and grabbed all of the paint sample cards that were close. I took them home to match up against the siding finding a very close match to the old weather bleached siding. Unfortunately, many custom colors can't be mixed in quart size quantities so I had to buy a gallon, still cheaper than a bundle of new siding. Using a piece of notepaper for a template, I cut the circle patch to cover the hole and the rectangular patch to cover a wider area, wrapped under the bottom edge of the siding. After painting a few patches in different areas, I went back to see if I needed to touch up. I honestly could not find the first couple patches I painted. It took a lot of searching. If I was looking for them, I would not have seen them. I was very impressed.
