I LOVE this label printer, seriously
As a small time seller, I was doing things old school for years - hand writing each label, stating in line at the post office, paying the retail shipping costs. It was fine for what I was doing - just a hobby/etra this and that.Nov. 2022 I thought about if I wanted to up my game a little, venture into a few newer markets, etc. The postal clerks were always saying "hey you know you can save if you do online shipping"... that planted the seed. Most of the printers out there were still doing the paper/ink wastefulness of using a 8x10 sheet of paper for something that only needs to be 6x4 inches - ugh too much waste and hassle isn't there something better? Digging around the web I kept seeing ROLLO pop up here and there. But didn't look seriously until I started digging around on Amazon. Well, after I viewed a few printer, Amazon sent me lots of "hey you checked this out, how about this one?" One had this unit, so I clicked curious to find out more.Well I found out that this one did check off some important features I thought I wanted:-small footprint-does just the label size 6x4 ...or smaller (maybe 2x3 or 4?) haven't tried anything but the 6x4 myself-gosh no INK - sign me up right now!!Then there were those neat features:-WIFI capable - don't know about you, but I LOVE the FREDOM of being cable less. I can be in one room on the other side of the house as the printer, and BING! does it's job... priceless!! As long as I'm in the wifi range I can print from anywhere - computer, cell phone, tablet... oh yeah I've even gone the "I'm too lazy to get out of bed at this moment" however I can do still do a tiny bit of work by clicking print and it's ready to go to the next phase when I get around to it, lol - ah, modern conveniences.-Came with some sample labels so I could start printing right away the moment I opened the box, nice touch thanks!-It's Mac friendly, dons't matter that much these days as it did several years ago - but it's nice to have that support across all the systems - android, windows, Mac, google, etc? I used so many systems they all have they good/bads I tended to stick more to the Mac side since it was more of the music/art stuff I was into when computing than crunching numbers/databases/programming. But I would imagine if it works this well on the Mac I'm sure it's just as nice if not better? in the windows world - not tech guy though and currently don't use much else than my iPhone, MacBook and occasional tablet. The price:- Yes, I do admit this one was a hard one to decide on. In Nov '22 it was more than it is now, maybe because it was newer at that time? That price point wasn't out of reach for me (well the credit limit on my card lol), but I did have to make every penny count for several months as it was not something I can just drop $300 on a moments notice. After I got through the wild holiday season, I knew this one was the absolute right purchase for me. Not only did that $300 come right back in that short sales session/madness (Yes I LOVE me some Christmas, LOL) but I had more than doubled my business, just with the help of this little printer. I got to the point where I found the max amount of items I can personally handle a day realistically, and its actually about 2/3rds MORE sales per day than where I was a year ago before this printer. Worth it? YEP NO QUESTION!!!If you're on the fence, jump off now and go for it. Some ways I kick myself for not doing it earlier, however I think this one came along at just the right time for me and now I know what exactly I want in a label printer. This one checks all the marks and then some. I did learn a ton from doing things the old school way, and for some things that works perfectly. but now I go this. No more lines, cheaper rates than retail out there (just do your homework first before jumping into a "great offer you can't pass up") - even Rollo has their own service via app/web that offers those same great rates plus connects to channels - I however have not used those features yet, not sure if those apply to my specific needs or not. However nice to have them should those needs arise someday. If you're on a tight budget like me, it might hurt at first - I'm okay with eating "top ramen" for a month if needed. If I were in a position to have more than one, you bet I would - but that's only in fantasy land, real world you gotta pay your bills AND eat - one is enough!I will be purchasing Rollo printers, they have proven to be a quality unit. Well worth the investment. It's not cheap, but when you need packages to get there and be consistent, do you really want to cheap out? Not me. The labels I got through amazon "9527 Product" work very well, stick nicely to all box surfaces, and are priced nicely as well. I'll keep going to them for the labels, here on amazon they do have some great deals which can be a nice bonus, but well worth the reg price @ .02/label.Thanks Rollo and Amazon!! Happy customer!! :)

Hope you have better luck than I did
Out of the box, the setup card provided seemed like the perfect solution. It didn't work. This was my first call into customer support, which they do not answer the phone, you have to leave a message and they will get back to you normally within 2 hours, but if the call doesn't go through on your end, then they will log the issue as complete. So be careful of this little gotcha.Turned out to automated setup program wasn't working on my machines (Laptop and Desktop) and the service tech installed the printer manually using the IP address. I didn't realize it at the time but is type of install lead to a situation they never thought of.After being on the call with them for over 2 hours, the printer finally got setup on both my machines, but I missed my window to print shipping labels for that day, so my orders were late. After several days, I had a number of orders that needed to be processed, and when I printed the labels, they didn't look right. Somehow the printer was printing the labels as though they were in 8.5" x 11". When I finally got on the call with them, they tried to tell me that the source files were bad, but since they come directly from the carrier, then everyone around the country would be having the issue, not just me. Turns out when they manually installed the printer a setting was overlooked. Ok, mistakes happen.Next day I go to print some jobs, and the printer shows to be offline. I go to check it and the printer is in "Ready to be Set up" mode. They still do not know how this happened, but we had to go through the entire setup process again.Next day, Printer is offline on the label processing system I use, and in the settings on that system Rollo shows up as a different device. The sevice tech suggests swiching over to the new device name, and boom it works. Why it switched names, they do not know.Over the weekend, I come in to process some special orders, and think, I better check the printer just to make sure, and sure to be damn, it is offline again. Several tech calls and multiple days, I finally tell them what I see is being the problem. I mentioned that the printer was manually setup by Rollo via remote link to both of my systems. Instead of the printer setting itself up as a single network device, it was now flip flopping from the device name each machine I had was called. But it wasn't based on what machine was turned on at the time, the printer just randomly selecting which was online / offline. Which meant that in order to print labels, I would have to go into the settings each and every time I wanted to print labels to ensure that the right printer name was selected to print the jobs. NO THANK YOU.Shipping shouldn't take hours let alone days to get it right. Finally after burning through over 300 labels performing testing, I had, had it and asked for a refund but by this time the return time had expired on Amazon, so they finally agreed to setup a return, but not first trying one last time for me to get it right. I suppose the biggest frustration for me was they never once would admit it was their equipment that could be the problem. It was, did you change any settings, did you do anything on your machine....you should reset your network and see if that helps. SMH.Bottom Line:I really wanted to like this printer with the wireless feature and all, but having to spend hours just to print some labels that shouldn't take more then 10 seconds every time, isn't worth it. My Dymo printer may be slow and have minor issues from time to time, but it works and most of the time I had to use it to print the jobs I needed for that day.I'll be looking at another brand now. But honestly I really wanted this one to work.Overall their tech support people are helpful and if you don't have to do a manual install, then this might be the printer for you.Good Luck
