These candles are superior in quality. Convenient timer function turns candles on and off automatically. The brightness and realism is absolutely the best we’ve found. Also like the use of ‘D’ batteries.

The media could not be loaded.  Flameless candles add a really nice ambience to a room without the fire hazard and inconvenience of lighting a conventional candles every time. The built in timer will turn it on at the same time every day without you having to think about it. You can also just manually turn it on and off using the switch on the bottom or by separately purchasing a remote control. My wife isn’t usually one to get pulled in by every bauble on the market, but we have five Luminara candles and three Univela knockoffs in our home. The dancing fake flame does a pretty good job of replicating the effect of a real one, especially if you’re only looking at it from a distance. And through this experience I’ve come to appreciate how effective use of lighting can improve the feel of a room.These candles are not cheap, and I would suggest you take a look at my Univela candle review if you’re in search of a cheaper alternative. That’s the candle with the fairy lights wrapped around it in the enclosed video. But, if there’s room in your budget for Luminara, then - for as much as I cringe at the price tag - there’s really no doubt that they’re the superior product.

This candle is fantastic if you are looking for a battery-operated candle that has a realistic flicker. It is a nice large size and has a traditional pillar candle look. The flicker is just perfect, as we have small children but now, we can still enjoy the ambience of candlelight. This candle is "remote-ready" so it did not come with a remote. The timer function works fine. It has a pleasant, light smell that seems natural for wax. Overall, a very nice product for the home or office.

I love Luminara candles. I have at least a dozen of them in my home and this one is probably my favorite. It has a very believable wax exterior and lovely glow. Even my husband is impressed with how pretty Luminara candles are. I don't typically use the timer function. I like to turn them on and off with a remote. This candle is remote ready but does not come with a remote. However, my remotes from other Luminara candles work seamlessly with this model. HIghly recommended.
