Concerned with color match at first
Read a few earlier reviews about the color not matching, but decided to give this touch up paint a try. Opened the box and shook the paint for about 15 seconds and brushed a sample on an inconspicuous area on the inside tailgate. On no, the paint did not match the CRV’s original color. Decided to really mix the touch up paint by shaking it a good 3-4 minutes. This did the trick….perfect match, so be sure and shake the touch up paint very well.

Matches well.
Works like a charm.Didn’t even need the sealer gloss at the end it looks so well without it. I didn’t want to risk making it shiny in those areas.It was easy to use and perfect for the sonic pearl gray for my 2020 Honda civic hatchback sport touring.

Purchased 3 times.. all three clearly do not match.
I'm sincerely confused on the conflicting information here. I have purchased three units (1 from a Honda dealership and 2 from Amazon) and all three are clearly too dark. Previous reviews suggest mixing it aggressively. So I purchased a new unit and did just that. I shook it for about 4-5 minutes and my arm was hurting for no reason. Same issue; color is too dark.Either those reviews are fabricated to increase sales on an item that cannot be returned or I am 3 for 3 for defective units.This item is a huge gamble. My advice is don't do it. The contrast in colors make the area far louder. If you do purchase, make sure to check color in a "hidden" spot(underneath hood). Remember, if they don't match you can't return it.

Works well!
This was a great buy when fixing my paint that chipped after a rather aggressive door ding. Once the small dent was popped off and the area buffed, I shook the pen for about 5-7 minutes prior to use, which mixed the paint well and prepared it for use! I know some reviews said the color didn't match the paint, but with proper mixing, that shouldn't happen.

Too dark. Doesn't match at all.
Way too dark. I have a 2021 Hona Accorf Hybrid Touring in Sonic Grey and this does not match AT ALL. Directions also sucked
