Burton & Burton the Very Hungry Caterpillar Shape Foil Balloon, 43"

We do a theme for our children’s birthdays every year where we decorate what they are into. For this guys birthday it was the Hungry Caterpillar. The ballon was perfect. It was durable and lasted through the yanking and patting by our 1 year old. I was impressed with how well it stayed inflated. The only negative is that its a “helium fill balloon” so it did not come with a straw for an option to blow it up yourself. We improvised. Overall it did its job and was super cute

The media could not be loaded. Keep in mind depending on your area you map pay more to fill these balloons than the cost to buy them. I hear Walmart has a canister you can buy to fill them on your own. I had a grocery store do it. I should have tried the dollar store.The balloons made for a great addition to the decorations at my sons first birthday party and now three weeks later he’s still walking around the house with one flying high behind him and the other slowly losing air. I’m going to pack them away and try to get a second use out of them.Video is the weekend of the party. They are bigger than I had expected.He spent a great deal of time walking around the house with one or both in hand. They took a beating, lasted the whole party, a two hour car ride home, and three more weeks at my house. I’m starting to get sick of them but they were a big hit!

We used this as part of the decor for our son’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar themed birthday party. We were expecting it to be big, based on the dimensions listed in the description. But it seemed even bigger than expected. It took up enough space that we didn’t end up using some of the other decorations because they were not needed.We tried to deflate it so that it can be used again, but I don’t think that’s going to be possible. It would be nice if it were reusable like some of the other balloons on the market, especially given the cost. Overall, we are very pleased, though.

Good quality I would buy again

This balloon is just adorable. It’s worth every penny and made my son so happy for his birthday. You cannot find Hungry Caterpillar merch in party stores so naturally I came to Amazon. This is the best price balloon I found. I blew it up with a balloon pump (not helium, just air) and it stayed inflated for soo long. It’s been 16 days and it’s still inflated enough to still look good. One word to the wise, you cannot blow up this type of balloon by mouth. You either need a pump or have to take it somewhere to be filled by helium. It’s quite large about 3 feet long so keep that in mind too! Hope that helps !

My son's birthday was 6 months ago. I cannot believe this balloon is still inflated (just air - not helium) and not even the slightest leak. We use it as room decor now.

Accurate to what the hungry catapullar book character looks like but was difficult to blow up.
