Fixed coil problem in my 2103 CX-5
Had an issue with my 2103 Mazda CX-5 one day where the engine started running rough and would shut off if I went over roughly 20mph. I hooked up my OBD2 scanner to my car's terminal and ran some diagnostic tests. It told me that my second ignition coil was bad. Looked around and the OEM part was over a hundred dollars which seems out of line to me. Did a quick search and found this one. It arrived quickly and I installed the coil which only required me to unhook the cable harness and unscrew the one bolt that held the coil in. In roughly 5 minutes I had it in and running. I ran the diagnostic tests and everything looked good. Took it out for a drive an no more misfiring problems. I have been using it for months now with no issues.
