Best mat I’ve ever had
Best mat I’ve ever used. I’ve been doing yoga for over 20 years. I never bough an expensive mat because I didn’t think I needed to. I WAS SO WRONG! This is worth the price, amazing durability, I feel like I can balance better. My sessions have been more meaningful and the super grip texture is awesome. Be cautious, it can feel a bit rougher on your knees as far as the surface, but the density of the mat is nice and comfortable and cushions well. Can really work on any surface too. No gross chemical smell upon opening either. I love this mat.

Worth the money
Best yoga mat I have ever owned . I had a mandala pro before and lost it in a move . They can last the rest of your life . Good grip, light enough to carry around, excellent cushion.

Love it. Good traction
Does not slip at all. Maybe too much traction for some people, but I love it. Also thickness is perfect for yoga and all sorts of floor exercises. Also quite easy to clean.

Very sticky, heavy and not easy to carry
This mat is very sticky, to clothes, skin you name it. It also is very stiff, doesn't roll out into a small size, but also doesn't curl at the edges, ever. It didn't smell at all. Nice color. I gave it 4 not 5 because it really isn't easy to carry at all.

Sturdy, sticky, comfortable
I'm a beginner yogi who was leveling up from the studio mats. After a lot of research, and seeing most of my teachers using Manduka, I tried this Manduka X. Right away, the mat offered stability and stickiness that the lovingly worn studio mats had lacked. It's also a thick mat, offering protection from the hard floor. (I still use a blanket for hands-and-knees poses, but not as often.) I will say that's it's heavier to lug around than lesser mats, so be prepared for all that stability to announce itself when you're carrying it. Since I don't have to bike or walk far with it, I'm fine with its weight. Overall, I'm very happy I went this direction. I foresee this mat lasting years.

Finally a comfortable mat that does not slip
I have tried several different mats in hot yoga classes. Some of them were to thin and my knees felt it, some of them were slippery. This one is by far the most expensive one but does the job well. I am satisfied.

Not worth the cost.
The media could not be loaded. This is a very thin mat. The Manduka X. When I bout it two years ago, it was super grippy! I loved it. But after using it periodically for 2 years(alternating many other mats), it has lost almost all stickiness. I write the company, and they just told me that “sorry, it doesn’t have a lifetime warranty, so we can’t help you”.I’ve only used the directed Manduka yoga mat spray to clean it, and still, the practice side of the mat is just no longer grippy. My Manduka Pro mat is amazing! I’ve had that one for 10 years, and it is still just as grippy as the first month I bought it. The pro mat is twice the cost. So, either spring for the really pricey Manduka, or just go with Gaiam.
