I love these semicured gel strips for repairing tears in my nails!Before finding these, the only thing that could help grow out a small tear or break in a natural nail were silk wraps. They are awkward and messy with the glue that you have to use and they didn't last very long.I can take these gel strips, stretch them out and trim to fit before curing! They last for weeks, allow my nail to grow out because in my case, I have thinner nails that tend to tear below the skin line.I cannot recommend these enough for Band-Aids that last!08/06/24: I've added another photo to show how wonderful these semi-cured gel overlays are for broken nails!Slammed the door on my finger today and there was bleeding. No way I was going to put a harsh chemical like nail polish remover on my nail, and it was split from side to side but connected in the middle. (I know, TMI and very gross)You do need the UV lamp, not just a little light. It needs 60 seconds to cure.If the strips don't fit exactly, you can stretch them out with your fingers. You can poke and prod and push them into place with an orange stick or even your fingers.It's best to trim as close to the nail and then pull or press down a little bit before you cure them in the UV lamp to get a good seal on the tips of your natural nails.They will eventually peel off without pulling on the sensitive part still attached to the skin. They will allow for you to grow out your injury as well.

I read all reviews. Watched the how to video and then applied. My first time I am not so sure about this product. I won’t be able to get 2 manicure because I had to use all the small ones the first time. I am curious to see how long they last and how easy they come off. I bought the clear and put a light polish on top. That worked well. I don’t know that I will buy again.Ok I just took a shower and they all started lifting. I literally pulled them all off. Don’t waste your money. I had them on about 24 hours. Awful.

I love using this on my natural nail when they break in weird/hurtful spots.Important to say I have a dehydrator and also gel UV base and top coat, which I apply after curating the nail under the lamp. That helps last longer, but without that I can see ppl would complain about the lasting. In my case its not a problem, but only bc I combine with other products.Also I dont love they only give you 2 wipes to prep the nail, considering there are multiple nails and sizes, its not enough

The wraps are good, but make sure you use polish remover to take them off; don’t just use “a stick or your fingers” to remove them. This is in the description of the product, and against my better judgment, I tried to remove the wraps without polish remover and damaged my nails. Having worn wraps many times to protect my weak, peeling nails, I should have known better. But I figured I’d make note of it here, just in case someone has never worn them before.The wraps started to lift about five days after application, which is a little sooner than other brands, but I did appreciate the fact they came with everything you needed, including a little scissors.

The concept was nice, however nails didn't stick around the cuticle area of my nails. The nail strips lifted. I followed the instructions. I wanted to get in touch with the seller but couldn't find a email address to see if I could do something else. I like these nail strips because I need something to protect my natural nails as they are thin. weak and brittle.

First off, I have been looking for clear nail "band aides" for a few weeks since cracking 2 nails. Long story short, I found this brand and one of the reviews stated they are great for cracked nails, which is exactly what I needed.Reasonably priced and next day shipping.I do think 28 in the pack is an odd number especially if you use them on each nail, needing 10 each time ~ but I only plan to use them as a repair job til they grow out.The first one I did was perfectly aligned, the 2nd one I was in a hurry and it's not perfect but it will do for now.They are holding up well in water as I've been in the pool a lot and they have not loosened at all.At some point I will attempt to use them as a nail "lenghtener" soy short.nails arr the same lenght as the others.The UV lamp I have has a timer one it and the 60 seconds, as directed, make the gel nice and hard to where the excess is easily filed offExtremely pleased with my purchase.

These are quick & easy to use. When I follow the following steps, sometimes they stay on for 3 weeks!1). Soak your nails, push back skin & cuticles. Make sure nails are TOTALLY bare.2) Wipe nails with acetone to strip oils.3) Select a size that does not touch skin or cuticles at ALL. Picking too large a size is the biggest cause of mine coming off too soon.4) Don't reposition, just aim right and stick once.5) Massage the strips down onto the nail bed for a few seconds.6) Trim down7) Cure8) File down to length of natural nail.If you to do this, they last a very long time!

I bought these because sometimes my nail will break at a point on the side where I would rather grow it out then rip of the rest of the nail. I thought using these would help me do that. However, if you do dishes or like to take hot baths- these will come off really quick and are not worth it for this purpose. I had applied them and painted my nails. They came off after I did some dishes with hot water within 2 days.
