Well built. Will last a long time
Solid construction. Definitely built well and will last a long time. Perfect size for the bed of my short bed pickup. I have a tonneau cover so the hanging storage boxes were not an option. This offers great waterproof storage space. The clasps on the front are sturdy and well made. I do not anticipate any issues with this storage box for as long as I own it. The only thing I would change is to add rubber feet to the bottom so that it does not slide around so easily in the bed of the truck. I used a bungy strap to secure it. The box does have indented locations for straps to lay and stay nicely.

great box-DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING
ATTENTION AMAZON customer service. I needed a nice sturdy travel box for out of state road trips. This is the perfect (only) size that works for me and it is quite sturdy (very similar to some we used when I was in the Army). Where it says "what's in the box" it CLEARLY SAYS WITH WHEELS!!!! The AI section (Rufus) also CLEARLY SAYS, "Yes, it has wheels, and "The 117 quart dry storage box COMES WITH WHEELS FOR EASY TRANSPORT". I presumed that there were hidden or retracted wheels on the box. That is absolutely NOT THE TRUTH! There are NO WHEELS. Now I have to contemplate trying to fashion some type of rolling system (drilling holes?) or spending more money and buying from another manufacturer. At best a TWO STAR rating for the deceptive ad, but at least a FOUR STAR (indicated above) for the quality of the box itself. This exact same box, WITH WHEELS, would be a five star.

Small defect but ok.
Hood quality but hinges came twisted. I had to fix them.

Heavy, very low capacity, bad finish and quality
This box is extremely heavy and the inner dimensions and capacity are extremely lackluster. The finish is poor and the plastic is starting to warp in the corners and bacon around the seal line after a morning out in Florida’s heat, for almost $300 is better to save up a little and get a good brand. When contacted seller wanted to charge $61.32 for return shipping. Ended up keeping it.

Great box tie down correctly no issues
When you choose how to tie down if straps pull out just slightly on latch side all latch’s work perfectly if they pull in slightly the middle latch doesn’t latch as securely as some other reviewers have commented.Also not mentioned is box has a nice drain on one end so can probably be used as a giant ice chest , though I’ll probably never use it as such .
