I received the GCS Tracker Knife Sheath 181 today, and already I am beside myself with glee. I purchased the sheath specifically for use with my TOPS Tom Brown Tracker #3, and as the headline says, it is a perfect fit. I am very pleased with the fit and finish of my sheath. All lines and edges are very clean, all stitching is neat and tight, the snaps and rivets are tight, and the outer accessory pouch is firmly attached to the sheath. The leather is thick; it is stiff enough the securely contain the tool, yet has a suppleness to it that allows for a little give. Considering the price and the quality of this sheath, I feel it is a outstanding value. I am very, very happy with this sheath!

I am going to be straight to the point and honest.I am giving craftsmanship 5 stars because the correct thread was used: waxed. And it was also double stitched.Negatives:Not the best quality leather. It was dry. And the top layer on one of the belt straps was almost separating from the rest of the layers causing slightly wavy texture, which I thought was odd. Basically you get what you pay for. It was cheap, the material , while it is made from hyde , is probably the lowest quality leather you will find.Positives:It was put together well, surprisingly. The snaps seems solid and properly seated. Even the extra pouch for a wetstone, or altoid tin is double stitched. So the craftsmanship is spot on considering the material musta been tough to work with.End note: you will need to apply at least 1 or 2 coats of leather lube or whatever conditioner tickles your fancy this stuff is parched and thirsty.

This item is great! I now have a really excellent sheath for my favorite knife. Fits my 6 inch length 2.25 in blade perfect. A little pricey but worth it.

Leather is thin and flimsy. It was partially folded in the box, so it has a significant bend in it near the hilt of the knife. Was bought for an ESEE 5 which fits in with quite a bit of extra room, so it moves around a lot. This, combined with the fact that the lower snap is so tight that it won't reach, and the upper snap is so loose that the knife can pull out slightly, makes it anything but confidence inspiring.Since I bought this to carry on the back of my belt, and the knife will be out of my sight, I will not risk using it.I thought I would take a chance with this since it was so cheap and had a quick delivery time, but you get what you pay for. I've already ordered a replacement from a quality sheath maker.I know this one is cheap, but don't waste your money.

I bought this for a Schrade 6 1/4 knife that I wanted to wear on my belt horizonally. It's well made and it's good looking but that pouch on the outside is to much. Makes it too bulky. I cut it off so now it's how I like it.

This is an awesome sheath. I read reviews about being to thin.... not true..... read the "it makes my knife rust", if you put your wet knife in any leather pouch it will rust. Read how that pouch must go...then don't buy one with a pouch. Good leather, good rivets, good sticking and good price. Well worth a couple 20 dollar bills. However, I guess if I was going to be an Amazon review snob, I would say I was disgusted that they didn't include a knife! SMH

Belt loop broke the first day I used it, it’s garbage stitching. Luckily I heard it fall off or I would’ve lost my knife which is worth way more than this sheath.
