I bought this to try and stop my worktop getting marked although the top is quite solid.So it’s mainly used for hot plates, making coffee etc to keep the mess down.Only gave it 4* as my son used a knife to cut a sandwich and it just went through it. So it’s not tough enough to cut anything on without a board on top.
