Allowed me to move A/V components to declutter our basement
We remodeled our basement and that led to us having a "second" man-cave home theater setup. The problem I ran into was that I had an old A/V cabinet that made the space feel smaller when placed under the television. The solution? I bought this cable and a cable cord cover and moved the cabinet to a location behind where we sit so that the A/V gear was out of sight and out of mind. The 30 ft. cable works great and I wound up buying a second one to route video from our gaming PC to a monitor.

Awesome 50ft HDMI 2.1 Cable
Spent a lot of time researching HDMI 2.1 cables, specifically ones that are fiber optic and 50ft long. I needed to run the HDMI cable around my living room from my Xbox Series X to my desk where my new gaming monitor was going to sit (my current TV doesn't support 4k @ 120fps). There are a tons of companies making such cables, but very few I had heard of and the prices varied wildly. Eventually settled on this one from KabelDirekt and very glad I did.The one ding against the company and cable is that they market it as "certified". but as other reviewers have pointed out, it doesn't come with the HDMI certification from the official HDMI standards organization. What it does have is a Transparency check, which is just an Amazon app for verifying that the product you ordered matches what you received - that doesn't verify the HDMI capabilities of the cable.Other than that, however, the cable is doing everything I wanted and needed. My Xbox detects that it can push 4k @120fps to my gaming monitor, as well as HDR. It even runs Doom Eternal at 120fps with no issue. I am very pleased with the cable!

50ft Run Currently Working Perfectly for 3440x1440 @ 100Hz
I had previously tried a couple of different solutions without success, from a 50ft optical DisplayPort cable, to an HDMI over ethernet extender.Recently I ran this alongside a number of other cables and it's currently working very well for my use case. It's a relief to finally find a display cable that's working within spec!

Reliable cable - No drops or degradation
I've deployed around 20 or so of these HDMI cables in various rooms, and they've all held up well for the last year or so.

It's fantastic!
My new house had a 15-foot conduit built into the wall for the A/V equipment and my standard 6-foot KabelDirekt HDMI cables were not going to cut it. I saw the same bad reviews you're also reading but trusted this brand that I've used for years. I am glad I did. The 25-foot active cable is perfect! Glorious, lossless signal, over a thin and sturdy fiber cable. Don't hesitate with these Chinese brands on Amazon, you can trust KabelDirekt!

Great thin cord for long range high definition images
I got the 25 foot cord and I’m happy to say that it is streaming 1080 P at 220 Hz to my 110 inch projector and it looks amazing.

This cable is ok, but almost not....
I have a 4k projector (true 4k HDR) that supports 4:4:4 chroma. I've been using it for almost a year with a BlueAVS cable that worked excellently. That cable and its lifetime warranty was fantastic. However, my projector needed a new DMD chip so I sent it off to BenQ for repair. When I went to reinstall my repaired projector, I found that the cable was bad, I couldn't get a new one very fast, and the warranty takes a while to process... so I bought this AOC cable from KabelDirekt.I've purchased KD products before, mainly their true AWG full copper speaker cables and have thought they were high quality. I have always been very happy with them. I thought I'd give this cable a try considering I thought they'd only put their name on a decent cable. Well, I was a bit wrong. This cable does connect between my receiver and projector at 4K HDR 4:4:4. However, I keep getting these quick, black and white flashes on the screen, at seemingly random places and random intervals. There's only 22 feet between my projector and the receiver so a 25ft cable works just fine. Since this is a new cable, I've only connected it so far without actually running it through the wall and conduit, a dry run, so I know it's not damaged. I've been mindfully careful with it. I swapped ports on my projector and receiver and get the same behavior. I've swapped it out with a full copper cable i keep in my bag and that doesn't give me any flashes at all on the screen so I know this cable has a problem. When compared to my BlueAVS cable, the diameter and construction does feel similar but this KD cable seems to have far fewer actual fiber runs in it; they are seemingly copper instead. You can feel the multiple fiber runs in the BlueAVS cable even just by giving it a wide bend. However, this KD cable seemingly has nothing flexing/moving in it at all. Normally these fiber cables have a hollow, outer insulation jacket that allows the fiber runs to move a bit freely inside so they don't get pinched or damaged internally; they can relax. You can actually feel and hear the cables adjusting as you move the cable even just a bit. There's none of that with this cable. So I'm thinking that inferior jacket construction/the cheaper material may be the reason this one is faulty.I am returning it.
