Quality, service and functionality
These casters are perfect for mobile tool stands and carts. They roll easily and can take the weight. I would recommend getting these from this seller because I got some from a different seller and they were damaged in the bearing on one of them.

Steel casters
Used these for my engine hoist. Holes don't line up for my application but was able to extend the holes to fit. Couldn't find a direct fit so these were the closest I could find. Very good quality.

Good sturdy casters for the money.
These casters are reasonably sturdy and though the axles and wheels are not completely concentric, they are adequate to the task and roll pretty smoothly. The brakes are not as stout as I would have liked, but they work reasonably well.

Excellent for heavy applications.
Bought Horrible Freight polyurethane casters, they deteriorated in 2 years. These casters are excellent, roll much better than the polyurethane and last forever.

Decent price but castings are rough, and holes aren't a true 1/4". We'll see how they hold up.
I have a 50 year old Delta Table Saw that needs new casters for it's roll around frame-- This system allows you to move the saw where you want, then push a couple levers to set it down so it won't roll. It works pretty well, but the casters are a proprietary stem type with a lock ring, that must be a specific length, and replacements are scarce and expensive.I bought these casters as I figured they'd hold up better than the original rubber ones that are now brittle and cracked. They were the right diameter, but the center hole is listed as 6mm, which is a little smaller than the hole size for the casters on the saw.The holes aren't 1/4 inch... they're .225", or about 30 thousandths undersize. This required me to drill out the holes...no big deal, but I also couldn't use the nuts and bolts, so I had to buy 1/4" bolts and lock nuts.2" long 1/4-20 bolts have enough smooth shank, but you have to cut off about 1/2" after the nut is screwed on.Also, the sides of the wheels where the hole is is "as cast" and very rough. This would add a lot of resistance to the wheels rolling easily. I touched them off on the side of a grinding wheel, and at least smoothed them up, but a person shouldn't have to do this. Also, the castings themselves aren't real good quality... hopefully they will hold up--if they do, I may upgrade my rating.
