The Liger Zero
As a long time Zoider I just had to buy the Liger Zero. He's a must have for any Zoids collector and I highly recommend him to any other model builders out there. Kotobukiya has definitely done their job when making the Zero and it's much more durable and sturdy than their earlier models (like the Shield Liger and Blade Liger).Since I've built many, many kits before I was eager to begin this one and get it done. After prepping and getting all my tools out it took me around 10-11 hours of building continuously. The plastic quality is grade A and the pieces are very well done. Unlike my other Koto Zoids, the Liger only needed about 4 pieces glued rather than half of the whole kit. With a scissors, glue and an exacto knife it's all easy and a blast to build. The articulation in the Liger is awesome and he comes with many features that weren't included in the original motorized model and some old ones. When posing and moving the Liger's joints they stay together well and unlike other kits the pieces all stay on.Over all this kit is the BEST one I've owned from Kotobukiya so far. The details, articulation and over all design bring the Liger Zero to a new light and I recommend it to any other model enthusiasts.

Detailed, sturdy snap-together kit for Zoids fans and model-builders alike.
I purchased this HMM Zoids kit from MT. FUJI JAPAN, and it arrived in well-protected packaging with no damage. I've been a Zoids fan for fifteen years, and have a rather large collection of the Hasbro and Tomy line of motorized kits. I decided to enter into a new line of Zoids kits with this HMM Liger Zero. Even though it is my first Zoids purchase as an adult, it is AWESOME! The step-by-step instruction booklet is easy to understand even if you're not familiar with written Japanese language: every step is labeled clearly, and the process begins to explain itself as you build. The movement of the completed figure is easy to control and pose, and pieces do not come loose easily (except the tail). Any piece that does fall off while posing can be glued and will not hurt the movement of the model. If you want to get the three armor variants (Jaeger, Schneider, and Panzer) as I do, you'll be glad to know that taking the armor off is not a painful process. The only parts to be extra careful with are on the head of the model. If you enjoy building model kits and want to try something new, or for nostalgia's sake, I highly recommend the Kotobukiya High-End Master Model series. Enjoyable to build, and has plenty of detail for even the harshest critic.

Great kit, definitely reccomend it.
Awesome kit. Super impressed at how much i enjoyed this. What started as an impulse buy based on nostalgia may have turned into my next hobby. This was my first time ever building a model like this. I built the mechanical zoids when i was a kid but that was nothing compared to this. Despite it being my first time i had no trouble building this, instructions were easy to follow and everything fit together perfectly. I reccomend if youre going to build this get some gold and silver paint markers, the "grey" in the kit actually looks blue so its best to paint over it, and the model has so many details that look great when painted silver and gold. Also i didnt like the red color of the pegs, so i painted over those with a brighter red and thwn used black paint to make them look worn. Oh yea and watch a youtube video on how to pannel line if you dont know how, i was hesitant at first but it looks so much better afterwards.

Great Collector's Piece
I bought this model kit as a gift for my boyfriend and not only is it a great centerpiece of our figurine collection but we had a surprisingly easy and enjoyable time assembling it. All together, with me clipping the sprues and him putting it together it only took us about 4 or 5 hours, and other than the peg hole for the tail being a little shallow and loose, the build is very solid and comes together well. There is a high amount of detail molded in the pieces but the paint job is pretty much flat monochrome, so if you have the skill, I recommend adding some detailing and/or distressing yourself. Overall, it was a great gift, a fun but challenging build, and a lovely model for display with limitless posing options, we're already picking out the next one we want to add to the collection.

Hmm Liger Zero
It was so fun building this model. It was a little more difficult to build than the the Hasbro ones (took me 13 hours to build), but it was worth it. It has a little more leg than the regular liger zero models but it is indeed very posable which is the best trait of this liger! The only things that I didn't like was the fact that the white sometimes look a little yellow in certain lights, the blue and brown is not a great color match with the rest of the liger but you can paint over it (only if you know how to properly do it. Not advisable if you're an unprofessional and trying to paint over the wax of the liger. That won't work well as the paint will come out uneven.) Another thing that really bummed me out were that some parts on the liger zero kept falling out such as the little things that pop out on his cheeks, the stomach part, its front legs, the boosters on its back, and above all its tail! But don't panic guys. That can be fixed with a little bit of superglue. But once its glued and all, it looks awesome and is very stable. The tail is only a bit of a minor problem (I only glued the base because I wanted the tail to stay flexible) but you can make it stand, sit like a dog, sleep, jump, run, etc. Head is limited as it can only go from side to side and up. The colors are a nice dark black instead of the grey other models tend to have. Toes can be separated if you want. You just have to trim them and the piece that covers the claws will make it stay. The detail is amazing on this model. I can't help but admire it everyday.
