It is what I expected; minor cosmetic issues
It is what I expected it to be. I don’t take stars off for getting exactly what I thought I was getting. I did knock a star off for two scratches on the lid that were apparently hastly touched up with a black Sharpee. Anyone who uses black permanent markers know that they are actually very deep purple andthat’s what came off on my Windexedtowel. Also remarkable but not why I knocked the star off: box wasn’t very clean; many small smudges and fingerprints. This box should fill the role I have planned for it. It’s steel, the hinges hinge and the rolling drawers roll and actually had acceptably low play in the sliders. The top handle brackets seem to be chrome plated low grade stamped steel attached to the lid with some pretty cheap looking rivets. Considering the weight of the toolbox and the kind of mass I’m planning on filling it with I expect that I may need to replace it at some point. As long as your expectations are reasonable, I do reccomend this toolbox. If you think you’re getting some kind of super deal and expecting something head and shoulders above a Harbor Freight unit then you will likely be a sad little monkey unboxing it. This is not Snap-On or Craftsman but that’s okay with me. Make sure it’s also okay with you before you buy.

Great toolbox with more bang for your buck
I purchased this tool box in hopes that I can organize my tools better. I have a Stanley tool box with a removable tray in the top and a bigger bol under the tray. It also has a couple of small divided compartments on the outside of the lid. It's a good toolbox for my regular every day tools but doesn't have the organization features that this JEGS toolbox has. The stanley box is made of plastic vs the Jexs box made of steel. The Stanley box has holes where you can put a padlock on vs Kegs that has a built-in love with keys. Of course the JEGS box is more secure than the plastic Stanley. Tools are expensive and keeping them secure and organized is important to me. I love the drawers for better organization. There was a different brand that had almost the same features as the JEGS that I also compared. It was more expensive. It didn't have the built in lock or a couple of features that the JEGS box has. I'm a woman with tools that I actually use and love. I can fix and work on a lot of different things and my tools are very important to me. Keeping them clean, organized and secure means a lot to me and this new JEGS toolbox is everything I hoped for and more. I'm very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone and will buy it again if the need is there. It would be a great gift too. The sturdiness, thickness and value are all there. You can't go wrong with this.

Heavy but very good value for the money
It is heavy but I was tired from digging thru my tool box for the screw driver or pair of pliers that I needed to use. Having separate drawers for tools is very handy. I didn't want a tall standing tool chest since I need to take tools to a job site and didn't want to pick out what tools I need for a particular job and put them in a smaller tool box. With a couple of these, I can just toss them in the truck and take tools and supplies to the job site. I liked that the drawers are latched when the top is closed so that drawers will not open rolling around in the truck. Since I am the only person using the tool box, I don't need the key lock but it looks like I can just disable it.

Sturdy and secure
I really like this toolbox, it's a bit small to fit a decent set of household or automotive tools but I use it for work and have plenty of room for wrenches, sockets, ratchets, hammers, screwdrivers, tape measures etc. If I used power tools I would probably consider getting a larger box to have room for batteries and stuff. It's decently sturdy, I'm impressed with the drawers as i haven't found a way to even remove them yet, so I'm not worried about them falling out if they get pulled too hard. I love that it has a built in lock as well as holes in the latches for a small shackle padlock, I feel pretty comfortable about leaving my tools in it at work. There's always a possibility that someone could take the whole thing but they'd have to go to more trouble than it's worth. If you're looking for a nice affordable toolbox to keep a good selection of hand tools in, this is a good one.

Junk
It is super thin metal and the the drawers sometimes come open when locked. I definitely would not recommend
