Perfect for struggling writers
I love these books for my resource room...they are great differentiated material for the students who have various deficits.

Great for adding more writing support at home
I picked this workbook up to help supplement our distance learning. Im using it for both my 4th grade and 2nd grade kiddos. Its a great resource for each and I'm very pleased with the way it builds writing skills for a variety of paragraph topics through drafting and brainstorming exercises.

Really great practice
My little guy is behind in reading and writing. These daily practices are easy to follow and really have helped him with his writing. I plan on getting one every year from now on!

Pretty basic steps building into the actual writing of a narrative or opinion piece. It helps the student see what they need to do first, and so on. We are about 1/2 way through the book and my granddaughters writing is improving some. She still hates to write though. I think many of the subjects that are used in here for the writing assignments are better for students that attend public school, as practice at home. My student is home schooled and has not had many of the experiences that they want her to write about. I have adapted some of them to fit what she does know or had her do some research. All in all I think it is helping make it easier for her.

I like this one a lot!
It is easy to keep track of the days and the assignments. Some days take longer than others, but that helps keep my kid's attention. He just finished second grade, and I got this for him to do to make sure he didn't fall behind during the quarantine. I would recommend it for any kid that needs a little extra practice in writing (like my son).

Solid Writing Activity Book
This book is just as described. Working on Pre writing, drafting, revising, editing, and publishing skills. It’s a but challenging for my little, I think it takes him a lot of brain power to get these pages complete. The pages rip out, that’s helpful! 10 of 10

It's Okay
We used this for writing practice for our 2nd grade homeschooler and it doesn't really work for us. She still hates writing and some of the lessons are so weird that we end up skipping them. It encourages creative thinking and the first lesson sets up the rest of the week nicely, but she's never excited to do it and we find ourselves scratching our heads on what some of the lessons instruct you to do. We will be trying Spectrum for 3rd grade.

Super Skill Review
I love this whole series of curriculum books. It is challenging for my second graders without being overwhelming. Each day covers a variety of skills, most of which the students need reviewed on. I use them for bell work, but they could be used for anytime you have an extra 10-15 minutes like just before lunch. They are great for extra practice, spiral and review, or maybe even homework. The variety of problems keeps them fresh for the student.
