This isn’t at all what I thought it was going to be. It’s almost all dirt and man does it smell bad. I’m not even going to try it. It’s more dense than what I have my plants in now.

My repotting of my philodendrons was easy and I feel confident this soil has the nutrients they need to thrive.

Just like all the other reviews, this product looks nothing like the image. The soil is supposed to be a chunky mixture that is perfect for aeration, instead, it looks like I got a bag of 90% peat moss/coco coir and 10% of everything else. There's pine bark, but very little, same with the perlite. You'll probably have to add additional products to make this soil more aerated. I used the soil as is and it took FOREVER for the water to soak through the surface, even though I never patted the soil flat. So, this soil is incredibly hydrophobic, which isn't good. If you choose to buy this mixture for your philodendron(s) make sure to buy extra soil additives like perlite, pine bark, and maybe even rice hulls and horticultural charcoal to give the soil more aeration.
