My son uses this to help his arthritic cat. It is just the right size and very sturdy. Easy to assemble. A bit small for dogs unless they are chihuahua size

I brought these as i have a ramp for my pups but they find it hard to get up now there older! These are really good quality and easy to make which is a bonus! They are great for beside a bed as mines slightly higher than most, i would give this 5*** well worth the money! Some are just rubbish plastic things if u want a good wooden one this is the one to buy!

Over all I’m pleased with this set of pet steps. They come with clear instructions on how to assemble and they took no time to put together. Since they were quite a bit cheaper than many others of a similar design and made from similar materials, I wasn’t expecting them to be as sturdy or to look as nice once put together - so I’ve been pleasantly surprised to find they’re both. Our, 4.5kg cat started using them straight away and they’re stable and taking her weight with no problem. She had a stroke some months ago and her balance and agility is no longer what it used to be, but the steps are also not overly steep and the removable carpet sections that Velcro to each step, are proving really useful to aid her feeling safe as she’s using them. I would have rated them 5 stars, had there not been a small chunk of wood missing from the base piece.

I have a chihuahua puppy, it's the perfect height for her to use the stairs to get up onto my bed, highly than the foam ones. She's very confident getting on and off the bed without risk of injury

If you're getting this to help an elderly dog or if like my Jack Russell X Labrador your pet has knee or hip problems then these aren't the best. The steps are far too steep to be comfortable for the height they reach. They're very tall which I initially thought was great as I wanted them to reach our bay window so my boy can look outside. But it turns out they haven't compensated for this by making the stairs any deeper. Watching him come down them is painful and sometimes he just jumps off the top to avoid them entirely which has lead to some injuries and prolonged use of pain medication.He does use them but we've had to make some adjustments and will be replacing them with something else like an adjustable ramp eventually. If it helps anyone our boy is significantly small than a lab but a good foot longer and half foot taller than a Jack Russell. Weighs about 10/11kg. I think it would work better for bigger dogs but then again they tend to need steps less.

Steps bought to help our cats get up/down the side where they eat. Previously had a wooden ladder but found that two who are getting on a bit age wise were starting to slip through the rungs and struggled to get down. These steps were easy to assemble, are very sturdy and look good. The removable material covers are good as they can be chucked in the wash to clean up. Cats all find them very useful and even the younger 3 prefer to use them than to jump on or off the side.The inside is hollow and it is open at the back. So this could potentially be useful for storage for some people or hidden bed area for a cat or small dog.

The colour is dark brown, but it is very poor quality, the wood is slippery so your dog cannot get friction.Don’t waste your money!
