Filters fast, works great!I love this pitcher. I've had a brita in the past, and this one is definitely preferable as it filters faster and doesn't have as much waste, as you aren't required to pour out the first pitcher full. It tastes like filtered water should, and I've used it frequently with no issues.My only complaint is that the old filter is sometimes nearly impossible to twist out in order to replace it with a new one. It locks perfectly, but the suction sometimes does its job too well. Just a note, but still an excellent pitcher!

Nice water pitcher! Feels substantial. And I like that the handle is attached both top and bottom (my last pitcher was only attached at the top and that's where it broke).Others who said the water filters slowly are accurate. It seems to be a slow process with this filter type. Doesn't really bother me though since the pitcher holds a lot of filtered water. So long as you refill the top half before the bottom runs dry the slow drip won't be relevantFiltered water quality and taste is very good. About on par with the BWT brand I had previously.All told I'd say this is hard to beat for the price.

I am trying to move my family away from bottled water due to the microplastics. This makes my tap water taste fantastic and removes microplastics. Very happy with this purchase

I’m really torn on how to rate this PUR Water Pitcher. At one time, I would have given it 5 stars without hesitation. I like the size & capacity as well as the availability of replacement filters.This pitcher is for use only in our travel trailer. We generally camp about 7 to 12 days in most months of the year, so it is not used extremely often. The first problem is that the filter replacement light gives us the warning almost every time we put it in use. Thats frustration #1 but I can live with that.We purchased the PUR in June, 2022. Sometime in Summer, 2024 (about 2 years later), the cover over the pour spout broke and fell out of the lid. It could not be reattached. I decided, fine; just go with an open spout. But no. Now detritus (bugs) fall into the filtered water, causing me to pour it out, wasting the water. That is no bueno.I’m in the market for a new filtration filter. I don’t want another PUR because I believe it will just break like the first one. Unfortunately, Brita pitchers do not appear to have a covered pour spout either.

Before purchasing this filter, I looked through all the bad reviews but decided to buy it anyway. What a waste of time and money. Those other 1 star reviews were pretty much all true - this is a cheaply made product. As soon as I opened the package there was a huge crack going down the lid of the pitcher. It looked like the package had previously been opened and returned. Not to mention, it didn't come with the actual filter. It was very plainly advertised as though the filter would be included. It CLEARLY says in the product title and in the description of "what's in the box" that 1 filter is included. I wanted to buy a water filter, not a cheap, broken pitcher. Very disappointed since I have previously heard great things about this brand.

Filter life lasts a while and the pitcher holds a lot of water.

Looks good, seems to do a good job, and seems to be well-made. Glad to have purchased this pitcher.
