A cute set that raises environmental awareness as the LEGO 'Friends' character rides a rescue quad on the beach for helping sea turtles. I mean, practically, motorised transport shouldn't be taken anywhere near a nesting beach, and you don't wean reptiles with a baby milk bottle, but apart from that, I'm sure they're helping!You get two 'Friends' style young female figures, one dressed as a vet and the other a surfer. The quad bike is rugged and realistic looking, and comes with a little trailer for carrying a turtle. There's also a small bit of beach with a crab and a palm tree and a sign indicating a turtle nesting beach.As with all LEGO Friends sets, the animals (in this case and adult and a baby turtle) are of a 'cute' design with big dopey eyes (compared to the creatures from the City minfigure sets). The quad bike is brightly coloured; the yellow over the wheels being especially vibrant compared to the normal LEGO shade of yellow.Perhaps lacking in enough parts to build much in the way of alternative models, if that's what a child is looking for, but all-in-all, a neat set with plenty of play and interaction options.

Loved the fact that it contains a character who is not one of the headline five.The surfing beach theme was loved by the recipient - as was the turtle rescue element.Especially love the open-ended play aspect of this set. Is the turtle being rescued and taken to the rescue centre? Is the turtle being rehabilitated in the beach environment? Is the turtle being released back into the wild? Is the turtle even needing a rescue?! We've had turtle watchers, a boat full of tourists, even an egg thief threatening a nesting site...So many possibilities - perfect for someone who is interested in marine conservation as well as turtle-lovers.Since Christmas, this has provided enough entertainment to justify the price and more.

Bought for my 6 year old daughter as a birthday present.Very good product that came very quickly. Great value for money and was easy enough that she could do it on her own.

Lego product as always of superb quality and the kids are happy. My biggest issue is with delivery by Amazon and lack of protection. Additionally it is hard to reach customer service to tell them about that - each point suggests returning the items and I do not want to do that.

Difficult keeping all the small pieces together. Wonderful for a young child on Christmas morning keeps one busy. Good instructions
