Great purchase for smaller projects
This has all of the same features as the more expensive brand bigger handheld heat presses. It was less expensive and works really well.I especially appreciated the heat guide that came with it! I’m really happy with this purchase. It is smaller but can press bigger projects in sections. It also came with some iron on patches to practice with. It also came with a rest stand. I would also recommend getting ironing pad to press on but a regular ironing board works fine too

This unit is a good size, not to big or small.
We have been trying our hand at dye sublimation. This unit is a good size, not to big or small. So far it has worked fine with no problems. Would buy again.

Terrific!
Heats up quickly and with the temp and time readouts makes using easy. I have an auto press that I use for tees, but this hand held press is so simple and easy. Subbing jewelry and such is perfect. Don't think I'll need to but would order again in a heart beat.

Great small press
I love this press. The timer is great. It heats up quick and stays hot. Works great on shirts and bags.

So easy to use< Great results too
I also have a table top heat press that is big and very heavy. This baby is compact but it sure delivers! My printing now is more of a hobby therefore its very convenient to not dedicate space and I can also travel with it.

Great Investment of a small heat press.
I wanted to make some wood puzzles for my Daughter and Granddaughter to give to their young students as Christmas gifts. I chose this product, in part, due to good reviews. I wanted a small press to apply heat transfer paper to wood.As with everything, there is a learning curve. I printed 4 pics on a 8 1/2 by 11 sheet (Canon printer settings: Photo Paper - High quality). I was impressed with the quality of the prints. I cut them out as shown in attached photo. I was adhering them on a 5x7 piece of 1/4" cabinet grade plywood (it has a beautiful and super smooth good side). I peeled the THIN (vinyl?) from the backing and laid it down on my wood.I set the temp to 335 degrees F and pressed, as directed, the snowman for 20 seconds. I observed some small wrinkling on the final image. I determined the wrinkling was due to shrinkage from the heat. I reset the temp to 325 degrees and left the timing at 20 seconds.Finished product looks beautiful. Caution: The transfer can be scratched, even by your fingernail.I am very pleased with this product. From my experience, if I purchase something to make the job simpler and easier, I will have a better final product and will be much mire likely to continue to use it.I like the fact that I can set the temp (in 5 degree F increments, and can set the press timing in 1 second increments).I am glad I chose this item for my project!

Broke after less than a year.
I really liked this press because it's a good size and it heated well and evenly. But after less than a year it's kaput. It turns on, heats to about 290 degrees then turns off.

Easy to use
Easy to use. Read the directions. Worked okay- I had to buy three different types of photo paper to find one that worked for me- but I don’t think it was the fault of the press- I think it’s more about the quality of transfer paper. But I’ve never done the photo transfers before so it could also be user issues.
