plug it in, signal passes thru
It's what it says it is. I needed a converter to send signal from a newer amp to an old speaker. The amp only has SpeakON and the speaker only has 1/4". The thicker tab does not jut out as far as the thinner one, so it is possible to insert it backwards (and then it doesn't work), which is why I gave 4 stars rather than 5. Simple to correct and I leave it plugged in 95% of the time so it's a fail and fix once thing for me. Now that I know it's possible, I just take an extra second and look. I encourage others to do the same.
