Only one that works
My grandson came to swim in the trunks he had in the lake. I got the worst case of dark green algae. I threw everything at it for a couple months. I thought I had it gone and he being 4 threw a toy that hadn't been cleaned back into the pool. Instantly got it back. So I bought this at the end of the season and it worked hard and fast.I was so impressed I ordered 12 packages and got a 6 months subscription. Lol. I have 24 packages so I'm ready. It's a 30'x52" pool.I purchased for this year suits and trunks and a life vest that all stays here so it doesn't happen again. LolThank God I found this one.

Chemicals were getting hard to fine
Pool chemicals were getting hard to find this year towards the end of the summer. Most of the local shop were either out or the prices were so high, we just couldn't afford it. Amazon came through again. I was able to buy just the right amount at the right price. I prefer the 73% calcium hypochlorite. But for what I needed this 68% did the job.

Mustard algae gone
For the first time in 25 years, the pool developed mustard algae. Used 3 bags one evening, one the following evening and it’s gone. Of course, there was the obligatory brushing, vacuuming, and filtering for 36-48 hours, but it is now perfect. I changed the filter each day, not wanting to breed more algae only to add it back into the pool. It takes time and effort, but it was worth it. Did I mention I live in Southern Arizona? The pool allows for outdoor time, and helps to lower body temperature, along with being relaxing.

Great pool shock
I would buy this again. I have a 15 inch round 52 inch high pool. I only need one pack per week to maintain the chlorine even in the hottest weather. The store said use 1/2 a pack but the heat wave was eating up the chlorine so we bumped it up to 1 pack on Sunday and have had no problems since. Works great! I use it along with my algae killer once every 3 weeks and if the ph needs to be bumped I would use baking soda but so far had not needed to do that.
