Bemis2850ZCPT604 Buxton Toilet Seat, Marine Blue

I stand by Bemis as a quality brand and have used them exclusively in the past. To be fair, I normally go for the composite/wooden variety and I've never previously opted for the plastic variety.... having seen what's arrived, I won't do so again.For £30 these are the cheapest, nastiest, flimsiest rubbish one could find. I would expect to find this kind of quality in the big, budget home supplies supermarkets. It really, on the face of it, is worth no more that £15 and THAT'S a stretch.It was a doddle to fit although the "snap off" nuts failed to do so and simply rounded. That's because they are made of cheap, nasty, flimsy and soft plastic. We'll see if the famous "no slip" promise can still be maintained.Look, it's your dime and you can spend it how you wish but I'd warn you that there is not £30 worth of materials in this seat. You have been advised!

Well I purchased this toilet seat to match up with my other blue items in my bathroom and let's just say I'm pleased with it. Very easy to fit and looks really nice. On a side note I can say it is comfortable to sit on and doesn't move around once fixed in place. It was so easy to install even for a total novice when it comes to home repairs. I'm all pleased with my handy work .

Our old toilet seat had, had it so needed an upgrade. I went for this one because I liked the navy blue colour of it to go with our bathroom. I was quite disappointed as the colour on the picture is more darker than it actually is! It's more of a royal blue than a Dark navy blue that I originally wanted. Can't fault the quality tho, it is sturdy, easy to clean & was easy to install.

The plastic was on the thin side & didn't feel as good as previous Bemis toilet seats. I will buy instore next time I need one.

Excellent. Just as advertised. It was indeed easy to install and it definitely doesn't move . We bought an easy install from B&Q and it was truly awful. Didn't stay in place and made spending a penny more like a balancing act with the added danger of a pinch to the leg
