Simple well priced and does wnat it needs to
Good points: plastic is easy clean and not uncomfortable. Easily fit in a few minutes.Bad points: soft close is sometimes a bit of a crash. Lid probably isn't strong enough for anyone over 16st to sit on safely.

Ok for price but far from perfect
The seat seems decent enough quality for the price and the fittings seem very sturdy but I did have a couple of issues which made me decide to mark it down a couple of stars.1) The sizing is not quite right, the image says 35.2 cm wide, it replaced a toilet seat which was 35 cm wide and fitted perfectly whereas this comes up short by by a little over 1 cm meaning it doesn't quite cover the toilet bowl. If your existing seat is around 34 cm wide then this would likely be a much better fit. The depth is also off by about the same amount, even using the rear holes so the seat is as far forward as it can be it falls a little short and leaves part of the bowl exposed, it's more like 42.6 cm max than 43.6 cm.2) The small plug parts that go into the holes in the toilet are slightly too wide, I had to modify them with a Stanley knife to make the seats hinges sit flush on the surface of the toilet. Really they should either supply a couple of size options or make the plastic "fins" around them slightly more flexible. The back of the seat also showed a couple of slight defects where the plastic was formed but nobody would really notice those once the seat is fitted. It's ok for now given that it's better than no seat at all and I can't exactly pop to a hardware store easily under the lockdown but I will have to replace it with a better fitting one soon which is disappointing.Update:A little over twelve months on and the seats hinges are totally failing. A white and blue powder started appearing around the hinges every time the seat was used, which got worse over a period of weeks, now the hinges will no longer sit flat no matter what I do. Basically the quality is far lower than it first appeared, I definitely would not recommend this seat to anyone.

Marine blue toilet seat .
Well I purchased this toilet seat to match up with my other blue items in my bathroom and let's just say I'm pleased with it. Very easy to fit and looks really nice. On a side note I can say it is comfortable to sit on and doesn't move around once fixed in place. It was so easy to install even for a total novice when it comes to home repairs. I'm all pleased with my handy work .

Poor quality
This blue seat is very poor quality. The seat has molding flashes around the edge, with no attempt to clean up the mold injection points around the hinge. The plastic isn't particularly rigid and the lid and seat are quite flimsy. The hinge system is also of a poor design. The underside of the hinge plate has five very shallow threaded holes into which a metal stud is inserted. These studs then passes down through the mounting holes in the bowl and are secured with long plastic nuts.Unfortunately, the 5 threaded holes in the hinge plate are arranged like the number five on a die and the studs are screwed into the hole on each plate that matches the bowl. Thus gives you three options for width and forward/backward positioning. If you have to use the centre holes for width, you have no further positioning available because if you need the seat further forward or back then you must use the other holes for the stud which then makes them too wide or narrow for the mounting holes in the bowl. As it stands, none if the holes were a perfect position for our bowl with the centre holes being the nearest match. This means the seat is a little too far back for the seat stay up on its own. To move the seat forward, the available stud points are too wide or two narrow, so it far from a 'universal fit'.Just as a final annoyance, one if the plastic nuts snapped when being tightened up.All in all, a disappointing purchase which will be removed as soon as I can get down to the local DIY store and buy a decent one.
