Worked well for being on the ice for 9+ hours with boots that are a little under-insulated for that purposes. While thicker, they aren't overly so and still fit comfortably in my boots.

Great for cold climates. Travelled to Iceland and my feet were not cold. They are thicker than what you think. Please make sure your boots will have toe room.
