Overkill
The problem with buses is that most of them are junk, and it's hard to know exactly how solid of a bus you're going to need. And it only matters at the extreme. Yeah, these are overkill. Heavy, too. Way overpriced. But decent quality (as one would expect from this brand), and not a lot of choices in the "decent quality" department to choose from. Seriously, how hard is it to sell a decent piece of metal with some screws in it? You'd think this was rocket surgery.

Very sturdy and hefty!
Got the 600A version of this bar for our RV buildout. I will say that the base and bar are extremely well made, very sturdy and hefty. The molded base easily accepts 4 (four) #10 nuts and bolts to secure to our electrical panel. Highly recommend. Only complaint is the cost, $99.00 for a bus bar seems excessive, but was a requirement for our electrical load.

Covers are available from boat dealers P/N 2708 for P/N 2104 600 Amps
I have not yet installed my 600 Amp Power Bar, but I had trouble finding the insulator cover. Blue Sea Systems give me the P/N 2708 for their 600 Amp Power Bar P/N 2104. Their customer support gave me two dealers and one had them in stock in California. West Marine automatically directed me to a medical device supplier trying to sell me something and I had to hang up on them and purchase it elsewhere. This appears very well made and robust.

Great industrial busbar!
I had bought another busbar on Amazon for my off grid solar setup and I noticed the positive load side was heating up. Over 200 degrees! I read the reviews for this one and was initially hesitant due to the price. Let me tell you it's well worth it! It's much beefier than the other and I'm guessing that has to do with how much cooler it stays. Even with 1500 watts of solar it's only a few degrees above ambient temperature. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

Expensive
So this is a very high quality block and much better then the cheap ones but still seems way overpriced.

We found this same product, a simple device really, in a few different places online. Amazon has the best price. We installed an is working perfect.

Quality item, for a price.
Will be used for the 4/0 cable leads from a battery bank used on off-grid solar install. Makes for a professional install and cleans up the cable connections. Seems over priced to me, but I didn't want to drill and mount blank copper plates for the power busses.
