Liberty Imports Toy Police Car with Light & Sounds – Friction Powered Plastic Patrol Cop Play Vehicle with Openable Doors for Kids

I bought this for my 22 month old grandson. He just loves everything police cars and fire trucks! He loved the lights and all the sounds the car makes, also loved that the doors open. I wasn't sure how this car would hold up to a 22 month old, but he played with it constantly and so far seems very durable. The size was good for him, too. Would recommend for kids who love police cars!

My 5yo son loves this car and picked it on his own because the doors open and close, it has a siren and lights. The bonus was it goes on its own if you speed roll it.The only thing bad I have to saybos one of the tail lights popped out in less than 2 months and I can't find it. Kids can generally be rough with toys, but I am not sure how the tail light came out. That is a mystery.To me the main thing is that he loves it, it is one of his favorite toys and the tail light popping out doesn't phase his enjoyment in the least.

At our Jewish wedding, instead of smashing a glass, we smashed this thing. It was glorious. At first I was worried because the wheels meant if I stepped on it wrong it would go flying out from underneath me and I would lose my balance, my legs would fly up, and everyone would see that I wasn't wearing any underwear. But we did it on grass so no such problem. The way it smashed was so satisfying, you have no idea. The crunch was perfect. The sound was amazing too. It has four buttons on top, one of which makes the lights go and the speaker goes WEEE-OOOO-WEEE-OOO. When we smashed it, the sound went WEEE-OOoo-wee-oo.... That was phenomenal.Anyway, the cops aren't good for much but if you need to get a little anti-state aggression out, buy this, smash it with your friends, then go throw a mazel tov cocktail through a police station window (don't actually do that) (ok do that, but don't tell them I told you to) (but for real they're dangerous and could hurt someone) (but like, think about it).

My almost 3 year old son loves this toy. It is a decent size and he pushed it around outside, causing me some angst because it sounds like there are gears down there that will eventually break due to how rough he is with it. It seems well built, the buttons on top can be pushed for sounds, and it made him smile from ear to ear - this was definitely worth the purchase. His sister was pretty stoked the doors opened.Edit: 4 years later, this toy has somehow still survived being left outside in the rain, sun, and pushed around in decomposed granite. My 4 year old occasionally plays with this car. The batteries have been replaced, of course, but it still surprisingly works and is in our toy bin. I am very impressed.

The police car is a good size for the 2 year old I got it for. He loves the doors that open & close. He keeps trying to open the hood & trunk to no avail. I love that the battery is already there & up pull that tab to activate it. Noisy buttons for the car is something kids always love, but adults would like the sound turned down some. All features on the car are safe. Great gift idea.

The toy has great volume and is very nice looking. After playing with it for a day one of the parts of the police lights fell off. Besides this my kid loved it and is a great toy.

It was a good choice. It looks and works much better what I thought. I bought for my 2 years old son. He loves it. He loved the opened doors, the speed of the car, sirens and other noises and how fast the car goes on the floor. It's pretty fast and easy to push. Playing with sis, the car went back and forth. Sometimes it hits the wall or some furniture but nothing happened, so it is sturdy enough as a toy :) Not heavy, so it's pretty easy to handle for a 2 yrs old boy. Well worth the price. I will buy an another one just for sure if this one has an accident. ;)

I got this car for my son who wanted a big police car for his birthday, and it has fit the bill perfectly. He's a rowdy four-year-old boy, so after more than six months, this car has taken plenty of beatings. Everything still works, and all the parts are still attached. In our world, that's a quality toy. It's just the right size to hold in one hand but still be considered "big" in his estimation, and it still fits in the car bin without being bulky. The sound effects aren't overly annoying, which is a big plus for me. Overall, I'd definitely get any car in this line.
