Notice in the headline I did not use the word "man." I used "male." Why? Because being a male doesn't automatically qualify you to be a man. The qualifications for entry into manhood land are described in this book. Read it! Then apply what you have learned. Maybe then you will truly understand what it is to be a man. Mr. Giles has hit it right in the head with this book! Not only is it a great read (informative, well written, and might I add hilariously funny), it's a book that NEEDED to be written. Too many males are wimping out at an early age and becoming whiney, selfie-shooting, man-bun wearing, self-centered, lazoids who want to live in their parents' basement playing X-Box and posting pictures of their cat on Facebook all day. This book will not only shake you up into realizing that maybe you've got something going on in your life that smacks of pussification, but it will also show you the way to true manhood. Get it. Read it. Bury your "feminine side" forever!

Great book. It might hurt some feelings. If so, you really need to read and heed what this book has to offer. Quite entertaining to those of us who haven't considered Man Buns, Slouch Caps , Skinny Jeans, Social Justice Warrior activities, living in Mom's basement , or getting in touch with our feminine side. If you can change your own oil, skin a deer, and don't live with your folks as a adult this will be humor. If on the other hand you have Millennial Lifestyle tendencies......... learn from this book.

This book is a much needed injection of manhood into the conversation about the femininity of the modern millennial male. The author is a wordsmith and the truths pointed out are couched in entertaining and yet colorful terms. This book is so good and accurate, the college ethics class which I teach is reading it on their own...well, well done!

I don't know how I came up on this but it is awesome. Reminds me of the kind of common sense and no-nonsense commentary about being a man that my grandfather would say. Very funny, laughed out lout while reading which I don't think I have ever done. Sensitive snowflakes will hate it which makes it all the better. A fun read.

Doug Giles pulls no punches.American males are constantly being hammered to reduce their inherent masculinity, and Giles is taking a stand encouraging men to regain their status as protectors, guardians, and providers. He urges being responsible and accountable, while reliant upon Jesus to become who they are designed to be, rather than the wuss the current culture wants to continue to emasculate.

I bought this based on the title because I'm always saying the same thing about this country and it's youth. I should say I'm almost 50 years old, a couple of years younger than the author. I'm taking a star away for that, not because I'm old, but because it's directed to a younger audience. Maybe I should have realized that. It's more of a guide on how these cucks need to man up, which is great if they take the advice. I'm also taking a star away for the religious aspect. I think the author puts too much emphasis on that. I already have Jehovah Witnesses and Church of Latter Day Saints people knocking on my door; I don't need any more preaching. If you don't mind that though, and you are a millennial girlie-man looking to lose the man-bun and skinny jeans and become a real man, then this book is for you.

What an awesome book for younger generations of Americans. I’d say mid thirties and down to 16 or so should def read this and apply it to their lives! Great breakdown on how Jesus was not a love hippy pansy, and shows us to be like Jesus we need to act like a masculine male not a beta man bun girly boy!
