The red bell pepper flakes are great in certain recipes. I like using them in my meatloaf recipe, but find that I will grab it for other recipes as well. Make sure you order the dried flakes and not the minced red bell pepper that has more grind up seeds and does not taste near as good in recipes.

I love this Bell Pepper, it's quite flavorful. As much as I like to use fresh products in cooking, I must admit, some dry spices are absolutely indispensable. And for soup in particular this Pepper is an excellent addition. Thank you.

Most convenient way to keep vegetables in boonies.

I often cook with peppers but I rarely use a whole one. I have been buying the bags of small peppers to cut down on waste as there's just 2 of us in the house. I was excited to find these and try them. The first time I used them I rehydrated them in a small bowl of water. The directions had a ridiculous time (can’t remember what it was, but it was completely unnecessary). They rehydrated enough for cooking within 10 minutes. They could also be tossed in soups or something that will simmer without rehydrating. They have a chewy texture (perhaps why they recommend the long time?) but I didn't find it off-putting at all. They have a sweet flavor (not as strong as fresh diced peppers, so keep that in mind). I think for the convenience and lack of waste, the price is fair. I recommend transferring to a jar with a sealed lid instead of keeping them in the bag. It will take some time to use the entire bag.

A very versatile item for soups, and salads.. even add to pickle canning.

I live as a volunteer in the developing world. Friends have brought various Delish products over the past year or so. All Delish products seem to be high quality. These red capsicum chips are very expensive. They'll only get used on major holidays. But, like I said, good quality.

Great product for pasta and other dishes. Can't go wrong.
