Protects the babies!
My baby mollies have lived in the breeding box for two months now, protected from mom, who would have eaten them if given the chance (as she did their siblings, RIP). I don't recommend keeping more than a couple fish in here, as it is quite small, and make sure the water level is high (do water changes in your tank weekly). I'm still feeding them First Bites fish food daily, and keeping their little tank clean. It's perfect for these little guys until they are ready to join the rest of their tankmates!

Very sturdy
I want to start off by saying I'm using the breeder boxes to hold my pothos and other plants- not for baby fish. I place them under the outtake of the filter because that is where the aquarium lid has holes to poke my plants through. SOMETIMES, it tends to fall to one side, which is kind of annoying but I suspect it's simply because it's under the outtake flow which is pretty strong. I have 2, and both have clay substrate in them which can be a bit heavy. Both hold up very well, so if you are just housing fry this works extremely well. I have used them for molly fry in the past and it was very reliable. I have also used this box under my outtake to buffer the filter flow for my Betta tank. I put a sponge and some plants in it, and the flow was reduced significantly without hurting the filter at all. In short, it's very versatile and holds up well.

Gets the job done
This is exactly what I needed to handle a surprise batch of axolotl babies. I had what I thought was 2 girls until one night I look into my tank and find eggs everywhere. After separating my poor gilled best friends, my daughter talked me into keeping a few eggs, and now that my spare tank houses my male axolotl I knew I needed to find a solution quickly. This box is perfect for housing my new babies while giving them the already cycled and perfect tempature water from mommas tank. The only issue I have had is the item came with a crack down the side, I was lucky enough to be able to use it still with no damage to my babies but I was in far too much of a hurry to risk sending it back for a refund and reordering a new one. It's a very temporary need so I make due, when my babies are ready for their own tanks I will attempt to seal it up with silicone in case any of my 5 other tanks decide to give me some fry.

Ok
It works ok. The middle divider tends to float which is a little annoying but not game breaking. It will float but I left it overnight without the suction cups and it had sank by the next morning. The suction cups work well and we’re very strong. I pulled the box off the cups before the cups lost suction. So it’ll be better to use it that way if you want to keep your fish inside it. Another thing that could have worked better is being able to remove the box from the tank and it retain enough water to be able toDump the fry in a new spot. All the water drains and my guppy fry were stuck the it. It was nerve racking but everything worked out. Good enough for the price anyway I didn’t loose any fry

Very nice isolation box
This isolation box works very well. I put some very young fish I wanted to keep isolated from the rest of the aquarium in the large version of this isolation box. The suction cups worked perfectly and held the box with no issues. I lowered the water level in the main aquarium about half an inch so that the lid of isolation box was not submerged. This allowed me to open and close the lid without it floating away. There was enough water flow through the slots in the side of the box that no food or fish waste remained on the bottom of the box; I did not have to clean the box. The young fish thrived in the box and after a few weeks they doubled in size and I released them into the main aquarium. Very satisfied with this product and would recommend to anyone needing an isolation box.
