Clear and multifunctional
Looks very sharp. Got this initially as a guppy breeding solution so fry don’t keep getting eaten right away. However, I removed the divider and put my betta in there as his fins were getting nipped off by the other fish. Looks great, provides lots of functions, well made. Bigger than I expected for the large.

Box sitting in the water at an angle
We like the breeder box for its design. However, a few hours after leaving the box under the water, air would started accumulating under the handles which made the box ended up sitting in the water at an angle. Wish there were 3 suction cups in place so the box can stay in place...

The lid floats and hard to close it under water
It was hard to operate under the water especially the lid. It won't stay closed tightly no matter how hard you push even during test without water. It's definitely harder to close lid under water. The fish food will drop from the gap of the second layer to the bottom, so I took it out to let the pregnant fish to eat. Overall, good idea but needs lots of improvements. Returned~~

Eggs become in fertilized eggs in this case
I have bought large size for my medium sized Ranchu. I thought small limited space can help female Ranchu refrain from loosing enegy instead of running away in large fish tank. They lay eggs, however every time they lay eggs in this case, they are unfertilized. Maybe it is stressful environment to lay egg? I don’t know..One egg hatched, but holes in the case are way too large for them. You can never use this cage for baby goldfish. I will make my own breeding box with nest…
