⚙️ Keep your motors running like clockwork—because downtime is so last season!
The MECCANIXITY CBB60 Run Capacitor delivers reliable 40uF capacitance at 250V AC, supporting both 50 and 60Hz motors. Its compact cylindrical design (96x50mm) and robust electrical features like high insulation resistance and self-healing ability make it ideal for air compressors, pumps, HVAC systems, and more. Easy to install with a 2-wire setup, it’s engineered for long-lasting, efficient motor performance.

Works great
Replaced old capacitor with this one on a fan motor with a 36" aluminum prop. Has been working great for a month or so now.

Just a little too large
It did not fit into the area made for the capacitor. I drilled a small hole and mounted it on the outside. It is super heavy duty and works well

Put new life in my saw motor!
Purchased this to replace the run capacitor on my Harbor Freight bandsaw motor. Specs were exactly the same. This capacitor was considerably larger than the original, but it works great. Just going to have to makeshift a cover for it.

Worked!
I was worried this would not work on the pump. We bought electric o ring clamps for the product and were able to install it easily. My only complaint, it did not come pre assembled with “O” ring clamps. Luckily I felt comfortable to install my own. Product works perfectly with our pool pump. Grateful I did not need a brand new pump!

perfect
perfect fit for old concrete mixer

Exact fit as old one.
The media could not be loaded. I got an air compressor out of my neighbor's garbage and bought replacement start and run cap from Amazon. Much easier to browse online for the correct part than through dusty old boxes at a supply house.

Works great so far
Got this as a replacement capacitor for my Lennox heat pump, perfect fit, runs great - I also have a jump capacitor to help with the startup amp/volts which helps everything run smoothly without dimming the lights in the house every time it kicks on. I like the capacitor is sealed as well to keep out corrosion and other elements. Great product for the price.

Capacity for an MQ3 [FOUR STARS]
Unless you live in a cave on the south pole, you must be aware of the recent prolonged high- temperature weather in the U.S. Southwest. While this is unpleasant for its inhabitants (and is leading to devastating electric bills for air conditioning), less appreciated is the impact of these temperatures on outdoor electrical devices, particularly water pumps. In my experience, well water equipment prefers to fail on Saturdays night after 10 PM, so as to assure no possible access to parts, materials, or help until the start of the following week. This time around, my trustworthy Grundfos MQ3-45 (96860207) pressurization pump succumbed to the heat late on a Monday night. The MQ series is a package-unit, pump, pressure-vessel, sensor, and controls all integrated together. It’s not really made to be fixed or serviced (I also discovered this series is now obsolete). Desperation inspired an autopsy, which revealed a melted-down (run) capacitor. The device in question is a 40uF, 250VAC cap. I have a fairly well-stocked junk box, but the closest I could find was a well-used 45 uF, 370VAC unit. This part was near enough in electrical characteristics to get the pump reset and running again, though the pump persisted in faulting every three days or so, and the cap’s larger can-size made it impossible to install it inside of the pump housing, where the original had been. I flew two wires out of the pump case to an external plastic container where I wired up the makeshift cap, but what I really needed to find a closer-matching, more appropriate replacement.A quick scan of Amazon Vine revealed this entry: “MECCANIXITY CBB60 Run Capacitor 40uF 250V AC 2 Wires 50/60Hz Cylinder Motor Running Capacitor 96x50mm with Terminal for Air Compressor Water Pump.” This might be a perfect fit.Delivery was slated for a couple of days and the part was suppose to arrive on a Thursday. Unspecified “delays” were reported by Amazon (it figures—you can order a stupid baseball cap or banana slicer and get it overnight, but the part you need to restore reliability to your home’s water supply is “delayed”) resulting in delivery 4 days later than originally promised. For me, delivery was a mix of bad news/good news. The bad news is that the capacitor was physically too big to fit the pump housing. The diameter is simply too large. None the less, I wired this new capacitor into the makeshift arrangement and, happily, the pump has not faulted since. For now, I’ve decided to purchase another make/model capacitor that is physically smaller, with the hope of installing it as was the original. If this doesn’t pan out, I can easily mount a watertight PVC box to the side of the pump case and use it to house the MECCANIXITY CBB60 Run Capacitor, which I now trust as a functional solution to my problem.
