Airtec MV4 4-way Diffuser Grille for 6/7/8" Duct (#81914)

Needs more product images so you can see what you're getting but these worked great for me after some modification. I unscrewed the entire mounting adapter and simply screwed in the diffuser face directly into the plaster. I then glued the center cap into the face of it. Finished with caulking the edges lightly and going over the bead with a wet finger. This worked for my needs as the adapter was too long to fit into the existing ducting.

Very easy to install, good materials, it's working good. Used on suspended ceiling and 4" duct; it can be used on different duct sizes. 6" and 8"

Advertised as including large zip tie needed to connect duct. Not included. Overall otherwise as advertised, slick solution to retrofit into old work situations.

This air vent with integrated damper is very well made, and made out of quality material! I used it in a drop ceiling scenario so I cut a 9 inch hole in a 2x2 ceiling tile. It does not come with a template for the hole that needs to be cut, that's probably my only complaint. Once you have the whole cut you have arms that extend out and then the screws on the face are turned to move the arm down and cinch it onto whatever surface you have. There was plenty of room for the ceiling tile, I probably could have fit at least two in there, so you have some wiggle room. To open and close the damper you twist the knob. This gives more precise control than the push pull ones that I've used previously, and the mechanism feels Rock solid. Oh yeah, and it looks great too!

Fits perfectly

Excellent, Used these in ceiling tiles. They are light weight and they have four little wings that turn out and hold them in place. They look great. Very easy to install.

The knobs to open and close the diffusers are junk. not strong enough to turn it open and closed

That was exactly what I was looking for. all in one damper with diffuser . I ordered six of them. two came with zip tie and the rest didn't which had me stop the job and go get zip ties. it would've been awesome if they were consistent.
