Over the past few years, I developed heel spurs on both my feet due to the modified posture I was walking with because of rheumatoid arthritis pain. On the x-rays, they look like tiny sharp sickles made of solid bone that dig into my Achilles tendon and cause unbearable pain. I got to the point where I could hardly walk and my doctor told me I needed a risky surgery to help. He gave me a set of generic heel pads to put in my shoes, and they helped slightly, but without straps they slid everywhere and made me unbalanced and unsteady so I stopped using them.I randomly went on Amazon to look at any other possible solutions and came across these heel pads. They are totally different (and much cheaper than what my doctor charged for a worse quality product!). The straps fit comfortably around my foot and provide support to my ankles, correcting my stride so my heel spurs don't grow worse. And the cushioning on the bottom is much thicker and more comfortable, made of cloth and breathable gel rather than foam, which doesn'tbreathe and gets very hot and sweaty. I definitely recommend spending the extra $1 to get the non-slip version, which allows you to wear them with sandals and other open shoes without sliding. Best $16 I've ever spent!

I have chronic problems with cracking heels. I've used the gel socks for sale by others, with water-based foot creams, but I really needed something that I could use with petroleum based products. This product is a great idea. They are adjustable so they can be customized to the size of my foot, unlike gel socks. But the backs don't come up high enough on the back of my heel. They only extend about halfway up my heel. I wish they were an inch higher. I used them with Vaseline to help soften my callouses & it did work somewhat. I just need something that comes up a little higher on my heel in order to fully treat my heels. I'll continue using them but will look for something that fits the back of my foot more like a shoe.

I am a physical therapist and I developed a heel spur while working in a hospital- constant walking on a hard surface. I tried stretches and massage, exercises, icing, getting really good shoes, shoe inserts, etc… none of which really helped. I think the shoe inserts specifically for the heel might have except that I couldn’t get them to stay under my heel. They would end up turned sideways or rolled up or down under my toes… which just added to my discomfort. I had pretty much decided that the only way I was going to be able to walk without excruciating pain was to have surgery, but then I saw these and decided to give them a try. I immediately noted drastic relief. I have been wearing it for about a month now. It’s holding up well. Any pain I have while wearing it is very mild, and there are even times that I don’t have any pain because it does such a good job at pressure relief. I love the strap that goes around the foot to secure it in place, and it is adjustable to fit whatever size. While this item will not fix the underlying cause of the pain, I highly recommend these heel cups to anyone who is simply looking for pressure/pain relief!

There is nothing to like about these heel cups. I have really bad plantar fasciitis and I work on my feet all day. I've tried everything from stem-cell injections and cortisone shots to taping my feet daily to no avail. I was hoping for just a little relief and these were absolutely no help at all. It doesn't matter if you put it over the sock or under the sock, within two minutes of walking they are no longer cup your heal, instead they bunch up on the side of your foot. If the back was taller that might help with that issue but unfortunately, they would still be completely useless. The gel pads were flattened withing 5 minutes of walking on them offering zero cushioning. I got maybe 5 minutes of use out of these and now they are sadly just going to be littering a landfill somewhere when I can bring myself to throw them out.

For reference, I bought some heel cups that were just gel. They felt great, but I had to wear them outside my sock to keep from getting a rash. My socks are tight but it still slid around and stuck to my shoe trying to put my shoe on. So this product seemed like it would work much better.It would have been great except the gel seemed to be all in the wrong spots. There is a hole in the gel that is supposed to be in a position, I think, to keep the part of your heel that hurts the most from having pressure. It just makes more pressure everywhere else which is too close to the pain to be able to actually relieve the pain. It also is really thick (actually it just seems this way) as it gets into the arch making a lot of pain there. I feel it would be better if the gel started to tapper off.It was too uncomfortable to wear as it was, so I cut it open and pulled out the gel (this wasn’t easy, but not extremely hard). Then I used it to cover the original gel heel cups I had purchased. This works great unless you are going to wear them all day and walking a lot. It starts to bunch. That is probably due to how I modified it.

Recovering from a broken heel spur this product works so well when having to stand and walk around it a a thick soft cushions and adjusts to the size of your foot which mine is a small and stays in place I highly recommend

The heels pads are very thin. I was disappointed.

This product is amazing. I bought them for a client of mine and she wears them everyday for the past 8 months. They are a very good quality very durable and the velcro last for a very long time. They are at a great price for to pears. They also help her heal sprus .
