Some of these after market non genuine are just paper, these ones have a heavy layer of charcoal that eliminates odors like the genuine ones,

Compatible Air Filter replace for the Miele Vacuum
The package comes with vacuum bags that fit well in the canister along with cutout air filters you can fit inside the vacuum bag cavity.The compatible SF-HA 50 filter is not the same quality as the Miele original. When you take it out of the package, black charcoal will get all over your hands as you place it in the slot. It will filter as intended and fits well. Given the significant difference in price from the original, you have to determine if you're willing to get your hands black with charcoal if you're changing that filter every 6 or 12 months depending on the frequency of vacuum use.

Does not fit the Miele C3 Dog/Cat Canister vacuum.
Quality is fine but the cartridge is too thick for this model. It doesn’t allow the canister lid toClose properly which cause the vacuum to lose suction
