Solid and well made, shall check of precision of dial indicator and unit built after a bit of use. Unit checked good at this point.Very happy to have picked this outfits product; there are so many low cost item that looks the same, but does not have same spec as this one.

But not a brand that my employer would accept for quality control.

Everything looks good. Seems to work good. Haven't done much with it yet though

Setup of the gauge seems to require more steps than expected, and a small collection of spacers must be used for certain bore sizes. Easy to misplace these spacers.The dial indicator was fine, however the action of the measurement head seemed a little coarse compared to Starret.Also found tool has a plastic guard over the dial indicator head that obstructs access to the dial lock and the guard gets in the way.

Great tool for rebuilding an engine. Proved to be very accurate (against a known reference). Occasionally it slips a littte after some time, so recheck against your caliper now and then just to be sure.

I am using this on a engine block work's good.

I was a little disappointed with the accuracy of this tool. I didn’t expect a lot but with the 3.6 extension installed it’s .06-.07 off. Easy enough to do the math to make it work, but wasn’t expecting it to be that much off. It’s not within .005 with the extensions for sure. Still usable for measuring engine cylinders
