Good look for a good price
I got this to complete my dress ensemble for an awards gala and it was worth it. The green gem on top matched my tartan and definitely completed the outfit.

Well-made
I like this dirk a lot because it was well-made and it’s very refined and like the previous one that I bought. I use it for self protection, but you can use it in so many things like envelope opener or even slicer of fruit. It’s a good value for your money.

But if you need a knife that will hold up as a tool, I'd not buy this.

Good addition to the kilt outfit.
Like the weight and the size of the sgian dubh. Not a fan of the overall look of the gem in the hilt but not a deal breaker. The gem resembles the plastic it's made from. I was hoping for more of a "glass" look. The amount of plastic used for the sgian dubh might be too much for some but since it's tucked away in hoses, I doubt anyone will notice.

Better than I expected
If you are a knife aficionado, this isn’t a collectors piece. But it is a decent ornament for a kilt.TBH, I bought this to cut the blade off. I wanted a decent sgian dubh that would go in my carry on. They dummy ones are a bit more pricey and don’t look as good. Figured I would cut the blade back to about 3/8” and epoxy it into the sheath.Decided to keep it as is.

Bought as Scottish dirk for preteen grandson. Not for younger kids obviously.
