Glides Evenly
This is a very nice little roller frame. It's very agile in its movement and helps me create steady, graceful strokes. The roller glides evenly and effortlessly through each revolution. It's very easy to add and remove the roller covers.Also... The handle feels ergonomically correct. My hands do not hurt as much as they normally do after using my old rollers frames.I will mention that I felt "tricked" into buying it after I ordered the corresponding 6" Purdy rollers, into to discover that they do not work with standard mini-frames. What's up with that???This has been my first experience with Purdy and so far I am understanding why they cost a little more than Wooster or other brands... Good materials and craftsmanship.

Works well, but hard to remove roller brushes.
I use purdy products all the time. This worked well as usual. No clumping, no lint... beautiful.HOWEVER, I don't know if it's the roller mechanism or the purdy roller brushes, but every single one I used (4) created an incredible suction when trying to remove the roller brush after use. As in, it was not possible to simply pop it off with my thumbs as I've always done with my larger purdy rollers. You HAD to fully grip it - HARD - with bare hands (I tried using both a piece of plastic AND my terry cloth paint rag).Something fits WAY to tightly.

There is no exception here, All the Purdy painting gear I've purchased and used for over 30+ years have always preformed Great, plus they are built to last !!!* This roller is the best cage for tight spaces. ( PERIOD )Brian

Nice and sturdy
Purdy is always good and sturdy. Nice threads inside the handle allow a solid screw-on of extender handle if wanted
