Fun for treasure map play, and they don't fall apart like paper maps...but too thin and flimsy for placemats or most decor purposes.

I purchased the maps for a vacation to the beach with my 2 and 4 year old grand kids. We used the map everyday on our adventures. On the last night we used the map to find a treasure (I bought a souvenir pirate chest and filled it with loot) that we had to dig up on the beach. It was amazing! It was really nice that we had extras to play with at home after the trip! They are very durable, easy to stuff in a purse, and I washed the one we had on the trip and it came out great. My grand kids were very imaginative about the clues in the map and they found things in the details I missed, they really loved the maps -and still do today!

These placements are perfect for our conference that has a pirate theme and will be used under the center pieces at each table. I was really impressed that they are a polyester cloth and not paper.
