Builder Special
Bought for my son-in-law as a gift due to the price compared to name-brand. He was shocked at the amount of pieces and thought it takes to build it. Great for the hard core builder!

Great for a 9 year old
The media could not be loaded. My son is crazy about all things Titanic (we have seen movies and documentaries, he has made his own models, we were to the museum at Orlando, etc) and he also likes Legos.Titanic’s Lego, however, was way over both my budget and my space availability. This was considerably better than I thought.Yes, the pieces are smaller but this makes it more difficult to break once armed (Lego designs are too easy to disarm).I can not tell how simple or complex the instructions booklet was since I never saw it, but I’m guessing it was pretty clear and straightforward: My nine years old, who doesn’t speak English, did it all by itself. It took him almost five months since he worked in half an hour - two hours intervals and then left it for weeks in a row.All and all, I’m guessing it took him somewhere between 30-40 hours to complete. And the best part is I never had to touch a single piece.

Overall, great product, requires patience!!
I bought this for my 16 year old for Christmas because he's obsessed with Titanic. He opened the box, saw how many pieces there were and how tiny they were, and said "you got this mom, I believe in you" lol..Took me 12 hours in total to build. (6 hours yesterday and 6 hours today. The instructions were pretty easy to understand until you get to the smokestacks.. that's where you REALLY need to take a breath and focus, and after you put them in place, you need to be SOOO careful when assembling the deck around them, one wrong move, and they will disconnect and fall into the boat, I ended up having to flip the boat on its side, pop off one of the blue (ocean) blocks and reconnect it that way..Not gonna lie, lots of profanity came out of my mouth while building this, and my fingers are killing me, but overall, very happy with how it came out.. tomorrow I'm putting the sealant on it (not included, but Mod Podge and some small brushes with the best)... Overall awesome

Worth every penny!!!
My son always wants to get a titanic piece, did some research, and pretty much around a few hundred. Not sure it is a good idea to add one more item like that price range as we have more than 200+ plus items(legos) at home, really started donating some of them to the local community. I saw this one online and thought gonna be hard to assemble, indeed quite surprised that he made it without any help within two days (after school). Quite detailed & friendly, worth every penny I paid for! Personally, I love the end result as well!

Unclear directions
The directions aren’t very detailed so it makes it extremely difficult to assemble. Wanted to return it but it’s past the return date.

Worth it!
My fingers hurt because of how small they are. You really had to push down on them to get them to attach to other pieces BUT it’s worth it because the quality is great and it will stay intact.

Be prepared, very tiny pieces and some missing
I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. First of all these pieces are extremely small. The entire base fits on a TV tray table when we aren't building. I do recommend sorting the pieces ahead of time. I went thru and labeled baggies for each step and put pieces in each bag before moving to the next step. Come to find we had half a baggie full of extra pieces but there were also many pieces missing. I had to go back and switch out pieces where the color wouldn't show like one step called for 10 yellow and there were only two left so went back to see where the yellow were used and was able to switch with all the extra white where it wouldn't be too noticable. I'm so glad I did this before building because we would have had to take it apart to make it look right.
