Really tiny coax
Fixing a 1950's jukebox and this tiny coax is the same diameter as the original audio signal cable. I assume it works, but won't know until I am done. Will update this review as needed.

Easy to strip insulation
So, right off I should tell you I bought this for an audio project, so I cannot attest to this wire's impedance or RG174-ness. I just needed some small diameter shielded cable for an audio amplifier project. This coax is super easy to work with - the outer insulation strips easily, and the shield is easy to gather up and solder.

Good quality, easy to work with, excellent shielding
This is a great product – shielded cable that is easy to strip and the shielding surrounding the sheath with the live wire seems very well-made. Furthermore, the entire cable is a very small diameter, which made it perfect for my needs in using this shielded cable in building guitar effects pedals, which are usually housed in a small enclosure with very little spare room. Definitely would buy again.

Solder with care.
This was my first experience with RG-174. I found it easy to melt the insulation around the center conductor when trying to solder the center pin on a connector. I expect it was more operator error than a problem with the cable.

Nice small coax for dynamo wiring
Same as SON coax dynamo cables, but cheaper and easier to get!

Not really RG174! But worked for my purposes
I was just needing a 2-conductor cable. Because it will be visible, I wanted it small and round and black. And this fit the bill, did what I needed. That said, it isn't actually built to the spec of RG174, if that is what you really need. The braiding isn't as tight and fine as real RG174. And it isn't tinned like real RG174. It might suffice for some applications but be aware that it is NOT RG174.
